    Nordic Extension on A300UP

My bud wants to use his UP for an upcoming 3Gun match that promises to have silly long shotgun stages (I just bought a +9 tube for my 1301...) so wanted to configure some extension.
He ordered a GG&G aluminum replacement, and then went after the stock plastic nut/sleeve with a PVC pipe cutter.
    Stay tuned for test firing...

Let us know how that works out! I’m curious if it could be done with the gen 2 1301’s with the 2-piece tube covers. It’s essentially what you have there it’s out the need for any cutting!?!

Maaaaaaaybe, but it looks like the two piece would still need a spacer, but might be easier.

The match is next weekend, so we will know soon enough.

Might be cool if Nordic (or someone, anyone) made a sleeve/nut that was open on the end and threaded to take their tubes of various lengths. For day to day you could top it off with their +1 (that would probably just peek out past an extended choke) and on match days (or snow goose season...) you could put whatever on there (and obviously swap the spring).

I assumed that Beretta designed the new 2-piece tube cover to allow for extended mag tubes. I figured that they would release their own pieced to work with it!?!?

Perhaps, but they sure have brought out some neat stuff in the past few years, so Imma gonna cut them a lotta slack.
But all this has my brain going through worthless cycles, like maybe swap the/a longer magazine over to my 21" 1301C (with the MRO in Rusty Nutz mount) and get a 24" version for 3G...
ETA: Making the 21" gun a nifty rig more configured for defense than game-y activities.
ETA V2: Also want the 1301T G2 forend.

If a person was really serious about this it would probably even be better ways of doing this. I measured the outer diameter of the mag tube and it looks pretty close to one inch, so I am sure some simple tube could be found that might have the proper ID and maybe an OD that matched up closer to the fatter back end of the Nordic nut.

I was watching this with interest, but I am thinking of shifting my strategy. I just shot with the goofiest long tube on my shotgun and it (unfortunately, it is just goofy...) probably is the solution for matches (for me), and I noticed it looks like the current production A300 Field Synthetic has the relieved loading port that matches the UP, and it might be the cheapest shotgun Beretta sells, so I am thinking of one of those with a long tube on it.
