What's the diameter of the mag tube? Has anyone thought of a clamp on or set screw ar15 gas block that has 1913 rail/fsb mount? They might have enough meat on them if they needed to be bored out some to fit.
Just an idea, I'm only half a cup of coffee in this morning.

For the guys with competition models, I've got something pretty killer in mind. Interestingly enough I did a rough design when putting together my optic mount provisional application for sake of having a broad scope, then Fisher gave me a call and mentioned the same thing. He gave me a better context and application.
I've got a lot on my plate, but I'm hoping to have a near finished unit prior to SHOT. Should be noted that ultimately I'd like it to be an option for 870s and 590s that don't have ghost rings. So yeah, stay tuned.

What's the diameter of the mag tube extension? Would this work for a light?

I don't have a 1301 so I can't measure.

Measured my Nordic mag tube and barrel just past the forend. The mag tube is 1.07", barrel is 0.8675".
EDIT: So yeah, a 1" railed clamp might just work on the mag tube. It would be pretty far forward, so maybe you'd want a tape switch?

Any updates on mounting a light?
Is it legal to install the Nordic +2 extension to the mag tube of a 1301 Tactical ?
