I can confirm TacOrd is non-rotating. I posted their work not long ago. post #5507. (I don't know how to attached a link. )

Manufacturer confirmed it doesn't rotate.

Nice that it’s non rotating… I was basing my assumption on the pictures on their web site.

Got the okay from the Mrs. to pick up a 1301T next month.

I assume the current Gen are GTG? Do they still have screw in chokes?

The LE models J131TT18C and J131TP18C (Pistol Grip) are fixed. The other models have screw in chokes.

All are good to go!

It works fine until it wears, which it does in typical wear points fairly quickly. It does minimize the amount of area you have to take care of, which is fine by me.

For corrosion resistance, is the marine finish the best of what is offered on the 1301?
