While the market has certainly shifted, and I no longer own anything in .40, I have to say that the Sig P229 has to be the smoothest/easiest gun to shoot in .40 cal. Solid guns that were a joy to...

I moved away from my Hi-Powers many years ago but every time I see one wearing cocobolo or rosewood grips I tear up just a little bit. I miss my Novak Hi-Power something terrible.
Boom! And that my fellow enthusiasts is the answer to the 64k question! (picture Les doing the mic drop and exiting stage right...).
Back to the OP. I'm currently running and carrying the LTT...
Don is a standup, old school smith who does excellent work. I can also recommend Greg Derr up in MA. Amazing work and cut from the same cloth.
Yah, Joe was a great guy and awesome to talk to on the phone. He did a couple of pistols for me while working at Wayne's. How time goes by...
Hmm, I wonder if that will work for the same POA/POI on the Centurion?
Yes! #closethread
Perfect, many thanks! :D
So here we are on a very rainy Sunday night and just finished my Braciole and Chianti (if you haven't tried this you have to - soooo good!) and started to wonder how many FAST coins have been awarded...
FYI...the P225A1 was discontinued for this year so it would be a hard pass.
Thanks! I picked up a threaded barrel and a boat load of PDV mags.
Short answer is No. Long answer is f&$k No! Classic P series (225,228,226) were great guns and I owned several perfect examples that I sold off years ago when I bought in to the plastic fantastic...
I'm not sure if the P30sk is on the CA roster or not but if things go sideways, and we are back to 10 rounds, I'll be carrying my V1 lite LEM with the mag extensions. The guns carries so easy and...
Couldn't have said it better! While I enjoy having an assortment of different platforms (HK, Glock, Beretta) I do feel sometimes I should be hammering on one system and abandoning all others. That...
LangdonTactical are they unable to supply you due to overwhelming demand, or is there some other factor? Given the possibility that it may be months for something specific to be back in stock, what...
I think you are spot on. This forum aside, the PX4 and even the 92 RDO are, at best, a boutique market entry. Are they great guns? Absolutely, and I'm sure that mine will get handed down to my son...
Isn't that just the whole truth of it?
Not a DA/SA but I run a HK P30K LEM for EDC with a pair of P30 mags as spares. Shoots like a full size gun and carries so easy. Love being able to thumb the hammer when holstering. A DA/SA version is...
So I picked up a new G19 Gen5 as a spur of moment LGS purchase and decided that I want to get an OEM threaded barrel. Looking just about everywhere it seems I am a little late to the party. By any...
+1 on the Wilson. Only extractor that I use! Don't forget that it will need to be fitted/tuned to insure that things run smoothly.
Looks like you put your new one up for sale? Moving away from the LEM trigger system GJM?
And now I know why the 10+ sold out in a few minutes...
Nice! I passed on one last year when I was trying to run down a stainless USP compact. I still regret it and it will probably be my next purchase. Oddly, as much as I love the LEM trigger system, all...
Blasphemy!
65k+ pulls on a TRS pretty outstanding in my book. I'd imagine the Wilson part will likely last longer but nothing is guaranteed.
