Great news! I'm holding out for a claw version, let us know when they are up.
Told you it was accurate! Very impressive for a 3" DAO revolver. Oh, you did ok too :)
Sounds like you got a good deal on that. The best S&W trigger I ever had was on a 2" 64.
That's what I carry. I shot some in that, they were very accurate and controllable.
Good score, I am going to miss this one! I really didn't want to sell it but I promised the wife I would empty out the safe a bit, it was getting pretty crowded in there.
I almost feel like it...
Nice! I have the exact same rig and it works great.
My LGS that I have been using for 20 years refers to it as the "Charter Arms Colt" and dissuaded me from buying one.
Instead I put the money into a 3 inch K frame which I think is a much better...
It's $29 now at Surefire.com
I'm a big fan of Eneloops too. I have like 50 something of them and use them for flashlights, Nikon strobes, Aurduinos, Christmas decorations, etc.
You could try Dale Fricke. He has made me some nice K and L frame holsters in the past.
P.S. don't bug Tony right now, we're still waiting for him to get the L frames up and running :)
Hi tanner, I was the "other guy" :). Sorry friend, I got it bad for 3" k frames and that one just looked so pretty. If it weren't for Christmas coming up I might have gone a little higher. I love...
I agree, I called him and ordered some K and L frame revolver holsters and he answered the phone and made me exactly what I wanted.
Hotness! Looks like you did a great job. 3" Ks are the best!!! Now I want to make one just like it.
I bought a 66 recently that came with a busted up rear sight so I put a Bowen on it. It's a really nice sight, very well made and great sight picture.
For the three inch k frames, try to get it to fit both the model 66 with full underlug and rear sights and the model 13/65 without the full underlug and fixed rear sight.
Side note, the 3" model...
Left hand threads combined with other right hand thread components is the devil's work. I tried the factory left Glock barrels with my Sico Octane and it was a huge PITA. The booster housing (which...
Can't wait for the 3 inch k frame, it is the king of revolvers for me! I'm in as soon as they are available.
Awesome!
Here are some thoughts to maybe share with your mold guy to ensure the most universal fit:
In the 686-5 model S&W changed the frame to a new cylinder stop design. It would be best...
I put the word out to a few other forms Tony, hopefully you'll get enough hits to proceed within a few days. If not I'll buy the last two (in addition to the two I already committed to) if necessary,...
Nice! I have it's brother here, great .22. Mine had the same issue, cases stuck real bad. I ended up sending it back to Smith and Wesson. They fixed it on their dime and paid shipping both ways....
I have one of his holsters for my 3" K frames and it is fantastic. Carries a 66 and 65 perfectly.
I'm in for two Tony! I am the guy who was asking you for one back in April. I need em for a 3 inch 686+.
Any chance you could do a 3" K frame AIWB? I carry a S&W 65 3" quite often.
Man that is quite a deal. If I hadn't just gone on a 3" 65 and 66 buying spree I would pick one of thee up. I have a 2" 64 that is a lot of fun to shoot.
I've been trying to find a source for...
