Similar boat (or shoes) here at a 12 4E. Used to be the OG Merrell Moabs in a 12 D or wide worked great, the Moab 2s seem to have changed the recipe. Keen Targhees have a wide toe box, and they...
Recently took a two day shotgun class with Symtac (which I learned tons from) along with driving three hours each way wearing an Enigma with Phlster Pro. No issues cropped up.
Used it for a while when it came with my Eidolon, to me it was not as comfortable as a foam wedge (or even the Dr Scholls gel pad). It's been awhile, so I can't recall if it was more of a hotspot or...
PM sent, I have the black OEM furniture off my 1301.
With a 3rd gen 4R, the big worry is oil sludge due to infrequent oil changes. Owning a 4th gen I have not looked into it too much, but Yotoatech, Ih8mud, and 4Runner forums have some good info.
Signed up, looking forward to next spring.
For a light weight rain jacket the Marmot Precip can be had for $50 or so, has pit zips, is lightweight and breathable.

The Wing Claw 2.0 or 2.5 with the Discreet Carry Concepts clips would be good. The DCC clips add minimal bulge to the belt line, less then the kydex loop or pull the dot loops, and can work sans...
The new 1.5" Mod 4 clips might work even better.

This and the Labor Day sale pushed me over the to try the Wing Claw 2.0...not a bad price for the upgraded clips.
Very stout low profile clips. Just tried them on a Tenicor Velo and might throw some on my Eidolon.

I wonder if a BFG Uloop would get in the way?

Aridus will have an adapter to use the Magpul Zhukov handguard which will give M Lok mounting options. Alternatively if you have a mag extension and clamp this would be an ideal use of a Blue Force...
Just in case people didn't see this in the 1301 thread: http://tsswarehouse.com/shop/beretta-1301-tactical-12ga-3-18-5-ic-ghost-ring-blk-syn-beretta-j131t18/
Beretta 1301T for $640.
For a non QD mount, I've heard better things about the lightweight mount from Aero Precision.

The lightweight Aero mounts have had good feedback so far. Easy on the wallet if you don't need QD.
As others have said, LaRue, ADM or Bobro are going to be safe bets for QD mounts.
Not as dangerous as the Jager Bomber.

Promises, promises...
One of the more thought-provoking presentations at the conference...I'd be interested in a copy.
This has been my preference as well...the i=orange square "pops" more to my eyes, compared to the circle. Not a huge difference.
Locally we have the opposite...establishments are getting savvy and placing "un-buster" CCW welcome signs.
Speaking of which: http://www.californialawreview.org/assets/pdfs/99-3/Hutchins.pdf
Interesting article with some thoughts on using PMCs and merchant vessels as privateers as a lower cost...
You might be better off attaching a small rail section to the forearm, or pick up the MOE version to mount the light too. Having tried the flashlight on mag tube route, I can say the forearm route...
Great photos, looks like central Wyoming, maybe Natrona County? Last month I got to visit my uncle in Casper, and hunted some antelope with him. Beautiful country out there, I need to find a job to...
