43 and 43X (after multiple tries/design changes). I don’t know that the Shield was ever tested.
It did not pass FBI’s testing, but has passed testing conducted by other agencies.
I just borrowed three other magazines from a friend (DW OEM and Metalform) and none of them engaged the slide stop at all. It was like there no magazine in the gun when I cycled the slide.
I just found a 9mm ETM in the back of my safe that I forgot I had. It won’t even seat in the gun. It’s like it starts to engage the mag catch, but not fully.
All my friends know I buy high and sell low. They circle around me like vultures.
Interesting. I’ve never had issues with the OEM magazines, but I know they’ve changed a lot of things in the last few years that I got away from 1911’s. I’m going to see if I can come up with some...
Sometimes I keep them, sometimes I swap them out with VZs. I had planned on putting VZs on this one, but I really like the grain in these stocks, so I’m going to keep them for now.
Yeah, brand new.
I think this is my 5th or 6th 9mm Guardian. They’re my favorite handgun.
Unfortunately I sold off all my 9mm 1911 mags . I may be able to find some to borrow.
I think this is Dan Wesson number 24 or 25 for me, and these are the most significant issues I’ve...

I sold almost all of my 1911’s off about 5 years ago, but I’ve really been missing them lately. Just bought a brand new 9mm Guardian and put 150 rounds through it today (100 rounds of 147 grain...
It's way more fun to think he was sabotaged.

That's the theory from the prior .mil guys at work.

Not supposedly, I own one. I talked to our (large) blue label dealer and our Glock LE rep about these quite a bit, and last I heard, there are no plans to make the 26 MOS a regular offering.
It already did, in limited quantities.
That’s very possible. Work is dumping our 43s for 43X’s, and I’m not really happy about it.
Thanks Det1397 for helping me out.

Starting a restoration/re-covering project on a friend’s 1946 Piper Cub with my dad. Dad just retired and I’m looking forward to spending the time with him.

Let me know if you guys are willing to ship that 632. :p
You can play the audio of scanner traffic on the CNN homepage. It’s embedded there and I’m not able to link to it. Law enforcement was able to get traffic stopped from at least one direction. Sounds...
I was against the switch to 1911s, which surprised a lot of people because I was known as the 1911 guy. The people making the decisions figured we were special and needed a special gun.
Before I left 5 years ago, there were a few guys that carried the standard issue Glock 21 instead of the Sig, but most guys liked the 1911. They did request Staccatos when the 9mm transition was...
