How does it look actually aiming down the sights withe the 19?
I will look at the smaller dawson sights. I don't want to get the really tall ones because I will have problems finding a holster.
I just purchased a G19 MOS and want to install the Vortex Venom as the optic. The problem I am having is trying to find suppressor sights that will give me a 1/3 co-witness. Does anything have this...
Have you guys noticed any weird wear on the trigger bar or gouges in the slide by the firing pin block? I have heard reports from people at my local range having issues. I guess smith is saying its...
All I have ever shot was blazer and never had an issue with malfunctions. Always worked on my accuracy because it was horrible. Shot some Federal American Eagle today and it was like night and day....
I had a G4 19 with OEM extractor tha completely failed the 1911 test. Which was not really a test but a way that I worked on getting rid of my flinch. One in the chamber, no mag. Fire and then dry...
I put one of the "smooth" face oem triggers in it. It felt a lot better but I couldn't shoot it as straight as other guns. No matter what I did it would always go left of POA. Had the sights changed...
I would say SA RO or a RIA Ultra. Shot both and really like both. Didn't have issues with either but I don't own either so I can't really speak in terms of reliability for either.
Springfield RO with less than 50 rounds through it for $450. Stick kick myself to this day.
XD 9 Mod 2 subcompact - hated the grip saftey. Had issues where the gun wouldn't rack or fire even though it was pushed in completely.
G43 - Gun was way to small for me to shoot. Drank the Kool-Aid...
Went to the range today and put a mark on the chambered round then put it in the bottom of the magazine. Once the rounds have 4 marks they will go in the range pile. I will also be ordering some of...
Do you still carry HST? If not, is there a reason why you switched? The only issue I have with it, is its super hard to find on the shelves. Seems to always be out of stock.
There is a lot of good info here. I think I will follow suite and start marking my casing with a sharpie. Thats basically 2 months of reloading everyday before I would wear out a single mag in my...
I carry HST 124gr. which is high quality to my understanding.
Thanks for the replies. I am going to try this because this seems a lot more reasonable and cheaper than never re-chambering a round.
I have a question about re-chambering the same round in my carry gun. At the present moment I only have one handgun and I use it for everything including dry firing, range practice and concealed...
I was having the issue of shooting straight left. I was doing research and someone said that it cold be the support hand at fault. I noticed the I was wrapping my support hand too far around the gun...
Ive had those days. Where I dry fire and everything seems to go so smooth then I go to the range and everything is out of whack. I would get so mad and try to send more and more rounds downrange to...
Thank you so much for the explanation. Might have to try that to see what happens.
I'm not sure what you mean by "rolling" your trigger finger down the face?
After reading this post this is what I believe is happening to me. Is there a way to resolve this issue?
Same thing has been happening to me for a while. I have about 3k through my G19 but can't seem to get rounds on target where I want them. I shoot about an inch left of where I'm aiming. Ive had my...
I currently carry a Glock 19 and have looked into other concealed carry guns. Not once was I worried about the weight of the guns I was interested in. I looked to make sure that they were easy to...
I preordered but I'm thinking of cancelling it considering the FS 2.0 in 9mm is still having accuracy issues. I don't think I would be able to trust the compact as my ccw.
Attend two or more handgun courses
Shoot more than I did in 2016
Work on getting into shape
Compete in one competition
Dry fire at least 4 times a week for 10 minutes
Train with the guns I...
