Sort of a side topic, sort of not. The way most military units train, including many SOF, is not consistent with sustained skill building. It's usually some quarterly at best, shoot a bunch and get...

They work well. You do still have to fit the sight vs just ramming it in the dovetail. The Sight Pro doesn’t change what you’re doing, just how you do it.
years and years ago, I contacted MGW about a shoe for something they didn’t support. They had me mail in my slide which they measured and made a shoe for, then added it to their catalog.I’m not sure...
How do you do it by hand?
Very nice! Are those aftermarket scales?
PM3 is my favorite one they make
What do you mean?
That's good to know. I ordered one but still waiting for it to arrive. Maybe the FCD CSR rod might is the way to go. The USGI rod is perfectly serviceable and cheap enough to be considered borderline...
Thanks, you reminded me to order a Magnacut PM3 Lightweight Salt.
Has anyone noticed variation in velocity reading depending on shooting angle from the Garmin? In other words, if you set uptje Garmin and shoot a target at exactly 12:00, and then one at like 12:30,...
Can someone explain to me the appeal of this design? Like, what does it do that makes it special or desirable? I guess it looks sort of cool, but is there some secret performance feature?
Also,...
The 13" SCAR barrel is generally the "I'm gonna use a can" barrel. The longer barrels are too unwieldy with the 7.62 can.
The amount of flash and blast with a bare 13" barrel is kind of silly.
…quietly adds colon cleanser to weapon cleaning kit…
Good point. Especially applicable to “carried much, shot little” firearm. And it’s not only damage in the sense of overcleaning causing premature wear. I’ve seen people deadline an M4 by jamming a...
What items would you include in a field cleaning, maintenance, and repair kit for your AR-15 or similar carbine of your choice?
In a military setting part of your basic loadout is a cleaning kit...
Any of those would be rad, but a 32 J frame would be a buy it now item for me.
I would love to see a non-moon clip 9x19 Revolver like Korth Skyhawk type thing. I was on the waitlist at the LGS for one of those and they were discontinued before I got one.
Looks like there are going to be tan and grey Acros after all.

I don’t hate the idea, but they need to point out what these do better than OEM mags. Especially after burning memwith their Glock mags.
NGL, that looks pretty rad. The ability to see round count is great, but I really like the idea of being able to check for 300blk, foreign objects or other problems. The white indicator paint is...
My mistake, judging from IG looks like an ACRO that mounts to a vent rib, not a micro.
A big window enclosed pistol optic would be of interest.
Weren’t they teasing a micro that mounts directly to a vent rib? I hope it’s not that.
If I could choose one thing for Aimpoint to...
Hungarian FEG PA-63
How they engineered the weak ass 9x18 Makarov to feel like a hot .38 Special through a J-Frame is beyond me. Actually it was worse than a J because it managed to focus 100% of...
How is the service life on those BRT gas tubes? Like, how many rounds do you get out of one? Does the gas port on the tube ger eroded at an appreciable rate?
