I had my almost-a-Macro (3.7” unported top end with RDO on a Wilson Macro grip module) out of the safe today for a RDS replacement (Romeo-X Compact for EPS Carry.) I can see how one of these along...
Two of the kid’s have the current factory extended magazine release. All three would benefit from BX Triggers, though.
I usually modify mine to allow dropping the bolt by pulling back on the...
And now a video…

And after posting that, an email came out:

I may have ordered one…
A new entry to the pistol chassis world - SIG MP320. It takes a P320 FCU and is sized to work best with a full size P320 top end. $600 with a Romeo5 RDS tossed in, and limited production at least...
I’ve never had the need for a takedown - stop enabling!
Good point - I can use my flyweight RDS one as a teaching gun, and then they can work up using their own carbines.
If anyone sees deals on turn-in 9mm P320 full sizes, could you please tag me? AIM is out of stock of their $350 ones, and it’s not something I’ve ever watched for anywhere. I’m not even sure what...
I just went through this when I realized I had the same mount on 5.56 and 9mm cans (YHM sRx.). I took the path of least resistance and changed the 9mm to Phantom using parts I already had.
Pushing...
Nope, it’s a 3.75” and I love it as is. I’d like a second ACP 4 5/8” Vaq with a regular gripframe, too.
Thank you!
The 4T is the closest thing I have right now to a standard RDS, I have several on Reptilia pedestal mounts including on the Rattler. My great experience with them is what has gotten me...
I should logically keep all the nuttiness to one 10/22, the rest I’d be happier keeping simple. One thing I really like is the newer BXTrigger (well, new to me); other parts I’m likely to add are...
Bumping this back up. Has anyone gotten more experience with the Romeo8T? I keep thinking it would be good on my Rattler.
Seriously, though - one of my 10/22s is a tossable little 18.5” taper fluted barrel thing with a PA RDS. If they have issues with the peeps, I can trial them on that.
But a dot on a Mannlicher? That sounds like an abomination…
What was his issue? The smaller window?
My birdshead Vaq is a 5152, a dedicated .45 ACP model (not a convertible.) I’d like a second dedicated .45 ACP 4 5/8” with regular gripframe, but I have no fire in the belly to find one - it would...
I have one of the new ones on my milled G45 just above your post.
A crew served 1911!
Seriously, though - I’m curious how it shoots. I’m guessing a little bit more oomph than a .45 but less than a .50 AE. I bet it’s pleasant.
I ended up with four, and only see possible holes for two more:
.22 - Dead Air Mask
9mm - YHM R-9
5.56 - YHM Turbo T3
.30, 5.56 and 6.5 Grendel - Dead Air Sandman-S
The two possible future...
I’ve been a member there forever, but haven’t been stopping in there in several years. I’ve got catching up to do.
I don’t want to fall into the crazy build hole!
They are, and I will.
Now I’m looking at my own 10/22 situation, lol. I have a heavy barrel 20” Ruger that I picked up last year for a cheap precision build with the idea of getting a KRG chassis, and a new Charger that...
We’re in Belton and are in Austin very frequently. It’s :45 to Georgetown or Waco and less than an hour to Round Rock. It works well for us. But my limited exposure to San Antonio shows definite...
I couldn't remember the name, but that’s it!
Are people still liking their KRG 10/22 Bravo stocks? I picked up a new Ruger bull barreled 20” 31166 last year with the idea of getting one of these stocks, but never did it. Now that I’m getting...
