Thanks Jon. I ask because I have the commercial version of the M17 and M18. I prefer them to the standard P320 due to the fact that they have the manual safety.

Yes, that is correct. Except in the picture he has the striker oriented upside down. The torsion spring actually holds the striker block down until it is pushed up by the safety lever in the frame...
