    I’ll try that as I have two of those Magpul stocks on my TacSol rifles. They are thinner pads however, and thus would not cushion the blows as much as the SGA pads… 😢

    Yes indeed, it does. If anything, it functions better because it is less likely to be accidentally pressed. Other than cost, I don’t see any downsides to this style of lifter.
