They also show 92S for a similar price. What’ s the thought on them?
Well that answers my questions about the Taurus. Now if someone could exlpain the difference between an M9 and a 92FS. I’ll be able to get off the fence and make a purchase.:)
Awesome! Thanks for the quick response.
A friend gave me some +p 38 rounds. Will this pistol safely handle these rounds?
Thanks all for the feedback. As always appreciate the wisdom of those that have been there and done that. The 6906 appealed to me visually as a companion to my M66. But if parts are going to be an...
Advertised as an Israeli army turn in. Looks like it would fit my needs as a carry. How are they weight wise?
Found some on another site. Anyone have any experience/ recommendations? All seem to be early 90’s manufacture, in god to very good condition. Priced from 350-375.
Went to the range for the second time, ever. I had asked the staff about an old box of 357 magnum hollow points that came with the pistol. Based on the receipt my Dad had with it they were 20+ years...
My mom seems to remember they paid around $200 for this one in 1986.
Looks very similar to mine. Like the checked wood grips.
OWA is an Austrian made semi auto 25 cal that was made between 1921-1925. Only 4000 or so were imported to the US. See my thread in the semi auto section for pics.

Finally got to a range with the Smith and OWA. Had a blast! Range Officer had never seen an OWA. He kept asking if I wanted to fire it. Offered him a chance to shoot it, which he gladly accepted! The...
So, I should be able to remove the “Tylers T Grip” and just use the wood grips alone?
Thanks for the info. Next question. Is that an unusual style of grip with the silver insert? Or just someone’s personal taste?
Sorry but I’m kinda new to guns. What do you mean by pinned and recessed?

Thanks for the info! It does have a four digit serial number and proof marks. So it’s not a common piece?
Found this while going thru my dad’s things after he passed away. Not sure of the history of the pistol. Anyone recognize or know about the make?
So it’s definitely worth keeping then?
It’s a no dash, originally purchased in 1976. My dad got it 86 and hasn’t been fired since. From my untrained eye I’d call it in excellent condition.
