New grip texture and a bull barrel option are now on the website
I agree. The one good thing that may come from the trial is more cronies getting pushed out.
The Atlantic actually has a pretty even handed article from Stephen Gutowski of The Reload:...
Not sure what you mean by having to slow down for revolver shooters. Bianchi Cup is about shooting as accurately as you can in a set time. Shooting faster doesn't gain you anything. The best shooters...
Bumping this thread to note CMP is adding provisional Production and Production Optics divisions to the 2024 Bianchi Cup. Haven't seen rules for them on the CMP site yet.
I have owned one for about 7 years, have close to 10,000 rounds through it. It is my favorite 9 mm by far. Double action is about 10 lb but very smooth. Single action on mine is 3 and 1/2 lb. I have...
Have you looked at NRA Action Pistol? Definitely a different mix of accuracy vs speed. Looks like there is at least 1 club in Louisiana that puts on matches. I'll hopefully be trying my first one in...
Grand Power pistols have a grip angle similar to the Glocks. But I think part of the feel of the Glock, like the Steyr, is how much higher your hand sits on the backstrap compared to most pistols
I think your instructor was spot on. A .15 split isn't always a good thing.
There are a lot of people who don't want to walk around with a full size pistol shoved into the the front of their pants, but do want a TDA carry pistol. I would love to see an updated compact...
I don't know if anyone's looking for older Colt DA revolvers, but Foundation Pawn in Loveland CO has at least 20 for sale. No affiliation, just letting folks know. A Diamondback in 22 would be pretty...
You might want to check out Steyr Club. There is a lot of info on the pistol over there.
Steyr announced an updated version at SHOT show. Don't know how long before it comes out, but looks interesting. Replaceable back and side panels ala HK VP9. Not sure if they're going to have more...
I was in the same boat about Remington, but the Carry model had everything I wanted and I got a good price on one. I think Remington's 1911 line isn't bad, but suffers because of the other junk...
I've only put about 600 rounds thru it, mostly soft handloads. I've had a few (3-4) stovepipes, which I attribute to the soft loads. Factory ammo has not caused any problems.
I don't know if the OP is still following this, but you might want to check out the Remington R1 Carry. Checkered steel frame, decent trigger, Novak sight cuts. You can find them pretty cheap these...
