100% agree. I always bring it with me to the range. Never had a problem with it.

It's also not OEM
I realized after I got home that my front sight is off center slightly to the right. Figures haha.
I'm not too sure. I only shot 2-3 targets for groups. I'm really not a fan of the OEM sights. CA experienced some long overdue freedom this weekend with the magazine capacity laws being erased, so I...
First rounds through my M&P 2.0 Compact 4". This gun is bone stock out of the box; literally the first 10 rounds I fired through it. Not my best, certainly not my worst. This gun is a shooter for...

It's been a very long time since I've posted in this thread, or on PF in general for that matter. I went out the other day and shot for groups with my M&P. I think the last time I shot for group was...
Or sell them to someone in a restricted state for $30 each...

Initial results are, IMHO, positive. I think I need to apply myself to get more out of it.
I'll take this post with a grain of snark.
Based on the sub-50 rounds I've put through the gun with the SL barrel I can say it is without a doubt more consistent. Obviously I'll have to keep at...
First group had some vertical stringing, then I fired a 2nd 5 round group.

My most consistent group to date:

If the SL barrel does what people on M4C say, I might...
I don't think I've posted about this in the thread...
Earlier this year I patiently waited my turn for the G&R fitted Storm Lake barrel for my April of 2011 M&P. I've since received it but have...
My Gen4 G19 fits this description.
I saw a 1" improvement when dropping in a KKM barrel. A more skilled shooter could probably squeeze out a higher margin but for my current abilities the OEM...
The best group I've gotten with my Gen4 G19, OEM barrel and 124gr +P Gold dots was just over 3.5" at 25 yards:

And as I said before, that was some of the best (and most consistent) shooting I've done so far.
Haha, thanks guys.
I wasn't feeling particularly "on" that day so I'll attribute most of it to the KKM barrel; though, hitting 3.6" at 25 with the OEM barrel gives me hope for longer distance...
Thanks, it was pretty cool to see it take up some slack in my abilities.
I just snapped some photos with it for scale. It was a gift from my old boss when I left that job, hence the tenths vs....
I'll preface this post by saying this is some of the best measured shooting I've ever done.
A member on another forum mailed me his drop-in KKM Glock 19 barrel so that I could test it out in...
Good to know. Mine is slightly off center to the left (~0.008") so I'd need to move it ~0.016" or so right to correct for POA/POI. There was an article posted on Modern Service Weapon blog by Jerry...
Ash, that's a great group!
Did your G17 always shoot POA/POI with regards to windage? Mine is printing 2-3" left and I'm not sure if it's my grip or if I should drift my rear sight. When shooting...
+1 for the 17.
Buying sets of parts (or better: spare guns), magazines and ammo and you're good to go.
Oh, and some new sights.
People still like the Ruger P Series, so who knows.
Agreed. After posting that I saw Caleb was getting 1.7" on his blog. Way cool!
