Even though I’ve been pretty enamored with the 32 J Frsmes lately, the 38 still plays a role for me. I’ve settled on the 32 for when I’m only carrying a J Frame or carrying it as a backup to an auto....

I've been using one for several weeks now and it is fantastic. I have yet to make it come out of my pocket on the draw.

Your guns and mine look very similar. I was piecing together sight sets 20 years ago to get what is over the counter now!

I find it slightly softer shooting than 135gr Gold Dot +P. I’d say in between the Gold Dot and wadcutters running 750 fps out of a 2”. This is all in Airweights.

All the ones I have measured have been .005 to .006 which seems to be the sweet spot for reliability and keeping velocities up.

Try tapping the back of the grips with a rubber mallet. That will usually separate the halves and allow you to get them off.

Speed Strips work pretty well with wadcutters in the UC guns for me. I think it helps that the Lost River wadcutter loads have a little of the bullet exposed and crimp into a crimp groove as opposed...
