Certainly a heavier .44 would be more comfortable and better shooting, but the Scandium 329 is what my wife and I carried, and is the .44 that I most often observed being carried by bush pilots.

I got a new strap for my Marathon 41 mm navigator. I find myself wearing this watch more than any other.

On these kind of decisions, always follow the money -- with the Steiner I'd want to know who has the battery contract. :p
Perhaps I just have bad luck but I have broken Aimpoint, Steiner, Leupold, Vortex, Trijicon, Sig and Holosun optics enough times that warranty is something important to me.
For now, it seems like we can mark this one case closed.
My wife, me and a dozen friends are running the R3 MX and XL with high round counts with excellent reliability. Sig's warranty is best in the business.
At $724 from Joma, the Mido punches way above its weight. I find myself wearing it all the time. I only wish it was a GMT. I love titanium!
It is within five seconds of my Atomic Casio Protek,...
I far prefer the Sig Romeo 3 Max for competition as the dot has more intensity adjustment than the SRO, has less frame, and isn't subject to the false dot like the SRO.
As to the 507 Comp vs SRO,...
Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I realized something about the SRO and a false dot. You are more likely to get one if you are looking for the dot early, and far less likely to experience this...
In the Sinn 556 category, another option is the Dekla tactical watch which is well under $1k.

Isn't FKM the rubber band material of choice?
I ordered a barrel ($599) from Steyr. I picked it in color "mud" to easily differentiate from 5.56.
The video suggests a lot of cleaning is required. Hope that is not true shooting Barnes's 110...
Very interesting. In March, I purchased 2 lower receivers with their upgraded two stage triggers. One of the triggers would not reset properly. I called them and they told me to dry fire it a bunch...
Wonder whether that trigger was selected or it is just a stock photo?

Bad Holosun optics and two green front sights that had their tritium stop glowing hardly seems like an indictment of the 365.
What is the mag base pad issue you are referring to?

Transition with legs/hips and not your arms.
That sounds like Tudor ad copy -- my use case would be it is light enough to wear it from the range to the bathroom!

OEM or 15, depending whether you prioritize reliability or sight tracking.
VCDgrips has been telling me about Dekla watches for a while. Interesting and reasonably priced. Very Sinn like.
