I was looking to upgrade some surefire 6P lights I had. I wanted at least two modes and 1000 lumens. I kind of stumbled on Pflexpro and they had some great options. They sale the modules as well as...
Glocks will serve you well, but if you dont like them shoot something else. I would suggest a look at the sig 226 sao or the new sig p320. With the 320 you have the option to shoot a full size slide...
I saw the same thing happen to a m&p 40. There may have been some heckling because he was shooting so bad. Made more sense when we looked down the barrel. Smith fixed it.
You just described the sig x5 short and smart. Free of mim and the price reflects it. Its also the only x5 with a short extractor.
It appears so. The slide is a P226 9mm. I have been able to swap barrels in the slide too. I didnt shot them but they fit.

I'm not sure...
I wrote up this lengthy review on the P226 short and smart. It is isnt a real common pistol so I had a hard time finding much technical information about the pistol. What I learned about the pistol I...

Any thoughts on the suspened moly lubes like machine gunners lube or 10-8 lube. I have used them and like it because they dont dry up and stay on the gun after being stored or carried for a while.
There is a youtube video of german sig guns being made. Towards the end they show assembly and you can see the worker using a big tub of tw-25.
A few more observations on the pistol. It appears that the P226 sao is the only non X5 226 that uses a frame with an undercut at the top of the grip near the rear of the trigger guard. I like this...
Sounds like a Sig p226 sao fits a lot of your criteria. Sao, accurate, reliable, high capacity. It is a little larger but still usable for concealed carry. A p229 sao would probably be perfect but...
For reference an ed brown kobra carry:
Engage 2lbs
Disengage 4lbs
I took some measurements on the safety at the forward tip.
Left side of pistol:
Engage 3lbs
Disengage 2.5lbs
Right side of pistol:
Engage 4lbs
Disengage 4lbs
I don't have anyway to test with a different slide but I am assuming it would work. All of the components for the safety are in the frame.
After cleaning the pistol engaging the safety with my right hand is no longer an issue. It is still really stiff if i try to do it with my left and engage the safety on the right side of the pistol....
The very first pistol I bought was a .40 cal sig P229. I really liked this pistol. I bought an armorers cd and learned to completely strip the pistol. I loved the craftsmanship and the construction...
I just bought a 226 sao and really like it. I started buying sigs about 15 years ago and this one has the nicest fit and finish of any of them. Had a 239 that had what looked chatter on the...
I am really curious about the x5. The specs can be found on the internet but there is very little about what Sig does to those as far as gunsmithing. I am interested in barrel and frame fit as well...
I forgot to add, gray guns make a semi drop in trigger that has a built in trigger stop. Looks interesting.
This is has been a great thread. I have a couple questions. What are the trigger pull weights at now? It was mentioned that the pistol was originally push feeding some rounds. Does this mean that the...
