Will a Glock Factory Gen 5 mag work in a Gen 3 17? Like, you'd stake your life on it?

Here's a photo of my rear sight. I'm sure amounts vary but is this amount of offset common for windage adjustment? It shoots a good group where I'm aiming and my red dot lines up with it as well.
