I seem to be transitioning back to leather for OWB carry. I carry in the same position and it just works better for me. That said, I carry IWB in Kydex probably 80-90% of the time.
Several years ago I ran a bunch of 124-grain ammo over my chronograph with my full-size PX4. Going from memory, PMC was the slowest, barely making it over 1,000 fps - I think the average velocity...
Duelist - I was in the college prep track and was therefore forbidden from taking typing, which was reserved for the kids going into the workforce after high school. I hunted-and-pecked my way...
When I was in high school (I graduated in '69) there was a class called "Home Economics" which was limited to girls. I assume budgeting was part of that class. There was nothing like that for guys;...
My first Glock was a G45. My second was a G19G5. Both have SCDs, and the 19 has a Grip Anchor. I really like the G45, but the 19 w/Grip Anchor feels better and is the one that gets carried. I'm...
As a business, that’s a good problem to have. :) I’m still waiting for my 442 UC to show up at my LGS.
FWIW, standard pressure 230-grain HST went 869 fps from the 4" barrel of my M&P45 Compact. I wouldn't get wrapped around the axle on this; different lots of ammo and different barrels introduce...

I’m not jetfire, but my RP63 shows “Braztech Int’l L.C., Bainbridge, GA” on the side plate.
Here is a review of a book I haven't read but sounds really interesting. It's a re-telling of Huck Finn, but from the perspective of the black slave Jim. I'm going to try to dig up a copy.
Well, I’ll be listening to him next month, I’m taking a snubby class from him.

Dammit, now I want one of those. I have zero use for one, but I want one just the same.
I'm shocked, shocked that y'all would make light of this.

^^^^In front of a "Pilot" gas station, no less.
My K frames ride in JMCK kydex too (IWB3).
You can pretty much interchange the data, but the velocities will be different - lead will be faster than jacketed, with plated somewhere in between. This only matters if you have to meet a power...
The Remington version of the FBI load runs about 780 fps from a snubby, which gives it a power factor of about 123.4, so it'll recoil more than the other loads I've mentioned. Still, I'd rather...
If it had been one of the .38s, I would have already PMed him. :)
I've never shot the old HydraShok. The current HS Deep ran 858 fps from my M49. From my 642, Ranger Bonded 130s went 830 fps and Golden Sabre 125s went 941 fps. Both Remington and Federal...
I'd go with the M&P. The 1.0s can usually be found as LE trade-ins for under $300 and don't suffer from the accuracy issues the 9x19 1.0s had. Magazines are relatively cheap too. I have an M&P40...
I had my gunsmith do the same, then I put on two coats of white and one of fluorescent orange.
The machining looks pretty cobby. Those grips are nice, though. Chambered in the "rare .357 Magnum" caliber.
