I second this ! [emoji817] It is one of the only revolvers that I would say is close to unusable in it original configuration … not a good set up for me / in my opinion.

Spent a good bit of time ADV riding , hiking, biking , and camping in and around Glacier, Tetons, Northern Idaho, and along the CDT. I carried a HK45C after reading over GJM”s...
I have hands on experience with that model (with an SRO mounted) and with 2 separate SAS II Viper UL w/ comp. All three pistols have been ROCK SOLID … no stoppages … and all have gone 3k rounds plus....
I will pop back in the shop sometime and ask. Have not even asked to see it outside the case … I am partial to 45LC.
I do know it is nickel plated.
I cannot see any lettering on the barrel …...

I think that is a very fair and accurate assessment. His articles are the ones that converted me to the 45LC club in the first place. He leaves behind a serious void in the knowledge base for sure....
