Anybody have a mag carrier/pouch recommendation for the USP .45? I have a George AIWB holster on order from JM.
Besides countless old gangster and cop movies, my love affair with old Colt D-frames was truly cemented when I took my old, but new-to-me 50s Cobra to the range a few decades ago and proceeded to...
Nice! Always had a hankering for an Agent. I have a '58 Cobra that is my pride and joy D-frame.

I *think* I want a set of these for a nice old spare Gen 3 G17 that still has its factory plastic sights, based on a perceived advantage with the smoother rear sight and its attendant appendix carry...
This thread is starting off very well. Great old photos.
I didn't know DB was working on a revolver book. I'm in.
Nice...and a great photo. Simple works.
My favorite dirty job watch is a G-Shock DW-5600, the NASA-approved one. No shame in the G-Shock game. They work.

Like others have said, 92FS/M9 can be a fine carry gun for a dedicated user who doesn't mind an admittedly biggish gun. I appendix carried one for years, when it was my issue gun. That was before we...
"This guy...he gets it. A 2" Colt D-Frame is the quintessential "desk gun" in my opinion. It's the gun every hard boiled writer should have on hand, when they are writing."
There are many like...
I do NOT need one of these. (Must keep saying that.)
But dang, that sounds cool. I have an old '57 production Cobra that I've had for a long time that is one sweet old wheel gun....
+1. Here is an iPhone glam shot of my pet '78 1680 Sub-Date. Traded an M-1 Garand and some cash for it almost 10 years ago.
(And yeah, panda dial Daytonas are wicked; the first one that Paul...
Based on looks (no personal experience) and if Tom got just under +1 seconds per day for three weeks...yeah, those Deep Blues are great beaters! Seiko movements are beasts, but they must have...
There used to be a Poor Man's Watch Forum for collectors, not sure if it still exists. Somebody out there seems to collect everything. Some pocket watch collectors specialize in the old...
+1. Read Norm Macdonald's new book, Based on a True Story, for a funny riff on Rickles. (He pretends to not know he was a master class insult comic.)
I'm late to the party, but happy birthday, USMC.
Very cool set up. Just getting back into riding my bike and that looks interesting.
Just finished Last Chapter by Ernie Pyle. A lady at work lent me a copy that had belonged to her father, who was on B-25s in the Pacific in WWII. I really enjoyed reading it but it was a bittersweet...
Haven't read it, but a Google of Amazon found this.

May not be a true 'Triggernometry' tome, but this book...
Great review, Doc. I enjoyed the movie very much and I'm enjoying the book even more. (More detail, of course.)
It's a great story that needed to be told.
I knew DB would have one. :-)
Saw this and thought at first it was an internet hoax. No such luck.
Love to hear the answer to this question.
I don't know enough to add anything of value to this thread, but I fantasize about retiring to Alaska, so of course I listen when George and BOM say...
I didn't have the privilege of knowing Jim, but I read his book. I thought it was very interesting that he seemed to really, really like custom .40 Glocks built on G20 or G21 frames, IIRC.
Hesitate to post this fuzzy, uh, slightly sepia-toned photo after seeing jpeto's professional shots...but this is my current SIG lineup. All work good, shoot good.

Great thread. Thank you for the wealth of information, gents.
Great line!
A female officer I once trained recently made do with a polymer pistola and actually did just fine with it. It was a heavy duty H&K though, so maybe the heavier polymer and steel USP...
