I checked my brass on the Underwood 200g, no signs of overpressure on those. I’ve also shot the Doubletap 200g/1300fps and no overpressure on those either- also and excellent round.

I think there is something to this "Piling on" theory to the extent that one shooting emboldens others.
Lets not forget the fact that all of these folks have one thing in common and it ain't...
Well true.....theres that^
Hey, I can see them...a plus
Old eyes here.....when I used to have great vision I liked a small front post....I'm convinced it made me more accurate.

Thanks guys.
I bought these a year ago and now finally have a ranch where I can set them up and shoot. The hanging plates will have swing to them....the stationary targets would be just sitting...
I bought some steel plates to do a little shooting on; (9" round, and 6"=/- standing targets. I figured I would just bend up some 1/2" rebar so the round plate hangs out in front of the bar jammed...
Gotcha, i just know from experience those BW tabs get hung up on everything....and we both know the best tried and true bear deterrent is to have a bear tag in your pocket- grin
Walking around with my tab on in Grizz country....ugh no, thats a bad idea eh?
Then when I hunt with a compound and release in grizz country I am in the habit of swapping the release to the back...
Appreciate you starting this thread GJM....timely after slogging along in grizz country for the last couple weeks.

OP,
I'm in a similar situation. I honestly didn't realize that my poor Glock shooting was the key to my enlightenment. My Glock just exacerbated my poor technique. Lurking on this site set me...
Interesting commentary...but the one thing that strikes me is how restrictive some depts are for gear/ammo....thats just wrong. LEO's are asked to do an awful lot with little appreciation- especially...
Can we really shoot pumpkin seeds with any accuracy? grin

" wear a belt"...classic!
What happened to the philosophy that depts had some sort of consistency in weapons and caliber?
Forgive my ignorance of LEO procedure, but isnt it an advantage to be able to share ammo?
I'm a fairly big dude....but if I ever was in a street fight [no weapons] there are 2 guys that I would want on my side...and neither one is over a buck fifty.
One guy is maybe 5' 7" mixed...
Got it. Thx for the info.
I have always carried a SW 629 .44 and was thinking that was the ideal setup even comparing it to the SW329PD...though that 329 is a dream to pack around.
Last year on...
Good one, I got a chuckle out of that.
I think my strategy is going to be always evolving as it has in the past for many of the reasons mentioned. For now, i'm going to try a few different...
I appreciate the thoughtful comments....I really like the info on this site.
I should have mentioned that I'm a lefty. When I bought my G23 decades ago I didn't consider that the mag button setup...
Look here......I didn't see this link referenced in the thread....a good side by side comparison to the G19....showing the extra beef in the barrel.
