I wasn't sold on the Type 1 RMRs (I had two of them and they both had issues before 1,000 rounds) but the Type 2 models have been fantastic. Both my RM01 and RM06 have over 3,000 rounds through them...

Just finished up with my 19X FrankenGlock. Details below.
Model: Glock 19X
Frame Mods: grip cut to 19 length and stippled including index points and bottom of trigger guard
Slide Mods: ATEi...
Because having just one would be ridiculous.

I have the same setup but I've put a couple thousand rounds through my first TLR-7 and it hasn't skipped a beat. Thoroughly impressed with these little lights, especially considering I can appendix...
Literally came here to post this. The Romeo is about 50% of the cost of an RMR and 2% of the quality.
Well, it didn't take long for me to give in and try my hand at a chop. Slapped my RMRed Gen5 19 slide on it and it's perfect for me. The reloads are smoother without that front cutout.

Caveat:
I don't own a VP9 and haven't put nearly as many rounds through one as some folks here have.
Personal Experience:
1) I find the VP9 to be too large for what it is (a 15 round polymer...
I'll be honest, I did use an aerosol once to blow out the lower of my PPQ, just because it's a little more complicated to detail strip that thing. But when it comes to Glocks; they're so easy to...
I just brought one home yesterday and immediately ran 150+ rounds through it. Perfect function, of course. The only issue I had was a click on the last mag. I look down and realize that I tried...
I'm a little relieved to see it's not just me. My Gen3 19 didn't make it passed 1,100 rounds on both attempts at this challenge but my Gen5 19 has done it twice (minus me not seating the mag once).
Finally, I own a Glock that can pass the 2,000 Round Challenge... After attempting it several times with my Gen3 19 and not getting passed 900 rounds, the Gen5 just ran through it with the following...
Yeah, they aren't the best photos, but the Gen5 ejector definitely hangs further in than the Gen3 one.
I just got home and took some low-quality pics.

As you can see, the Gen5 19 (top) has an extractor that appears to be closer to the firing pin (more centered) than the Gen3 19's...
As far as ejection goes, I just passed the 1,000 round mark with my Gen5 19 yesterday and I have taken exactly 0 brass to the face. For comparison, my Gen3 19 with OEM parts will toss at least 1 of...
Well, I convinced myself that I needed a third 19 so naturally why would I not want to try the new FBI gun? Some notes:
- As others have mentioned, finger-blasting one at the gun store doesn't...
How many rounds would you say are through that particular gun? The 19 that I carry looks worse in that area and it's only ever had an OEM barrel in it. It's just seen north of 12,000 rounds.
I searched and I couldn't quite find any other threads covering this subject. How often should a firing pin/striker be replaced on a Glock? My brand new CZ P10C (with only 2,200 rounds) just had...
That being said, it was believable that they went under. I haven't seen or heard anything from Salient ever since Agency Arms made it big. I guess I just assumed that Agency stole all the tactical...
Mine requires a decent shove to auto-forward. Generally speaking, I don't ram mags in when the action is open since there is no real resistance to overcome.
For any interested parties, MAC just...
My wandering mind was getting cozy with the CZ P10C, and then this happens...
I believe both can play a part, to varying degrees, obviously. This is why we have an entire thread about fixing BTF issues using hardware modifications in this very forum. As far as my personal...
Last week, I took out my 19.3, PPQ, and P10C to shoot them side-by-side for a quick compare and contrast. The CZ seemed to track the fastest of all three with the PPQ being the worst in that regard....
If I get bored at any point this week, I way create one.
I'm not sure if this was already mentioned somewhere in the 34 pages of this thread, but do we have all of the current data in spreadsheet form?
I discovered this when I decided to start carrying an X300 on my pistol of choice (G19, PPQ, P10C) and was very pleasantly surprised.
