The pistols seem to be a little "tight" when brand new. The only stoppages I've had (3 different guns, one stoppage per gun, different ammo types) were within the first 100 rounds with the OEM RSA...

I use the Suarez RSA in several 43x (2 with RMR, 2 without). No problems at all with: ball ammo, 115 grain GD, and 124 grain GD+P.

As to the envelope of timing: you might try a Suarez RSA. It's a single spring on a somewhat heavier guide rod. They seem to work smoother than the dual spring set-up, at least in the 43x.

Haven't the courts already decided that: if you're thinking about shooting to wound, the situation is not serious enought to be shooting AT ALL?

NP3 the whole slide. It will cost more and you can make do without it but... You might be glad you did in the long run.

I can't say the G43x won't run 147grn ammo. I don't use it, so I can't say it will run it either.

My personal experiences shooting black and silver slide pistols since they were introduced (2 years):
8000+ rounds fired among 4 guns
2 silver slides were NP3'd and have an RMR mounted (1 year)...

Just south of Nashville is Franklin TN. A huge battle was fought there in the Civil War....
