Thank you both for the thoughtful and detailed responses.
I totally agree with both points. I think that if you are training in a good school then your bases are covered.
There are tons of tests for a person to evaluate their level of fitness or shooting ability. Some martial arts have belt rankings, but those are subjective and vary GREATLY between different styles....
I recently heard a great quote regarding age, body composition, diet and exercise; "Past a certain age, you cannot outrun a bad diet."
For me, at 51, diet has proven to be the most important thing...
I am 99.99% sure about what I am going to do, but wanted to post the question here to make sure I am not missing anything.
Last week I listed a pistol and multiple 16 round magazines for sale on...
Thanks for the replies and the link!
I want to buy a second P2000 as a backup to the one I use for training. I have been looking for about a month but cannot find any available online or locally in 9mm. Is ther an ebb and flow to the...
This is perfectly succinct and I agree 100%.
Short version:
I started training BJJ at 51. It has been a great experience so far.

There are probably a few other people like me who are considering starting BJJ. I wanted...
My experience with Langdon Tactical and the woman that answers the phone (Ms Langdon I think) was both pleasant and professional. So were all the e-mail communications. I definitely will do...
My Mother In Law's hubby, who is not very knowledgeable about guns but likes them a lot, had a Taurus that he was really proud of. With regularity it would fire 2 - 4 rounds with a single trigger...
I know a few guys that drive from N AZ / Prescott to shoot at the Thursday night match at Ben Avery. It is located at the northern end of Phoenix and right off I-17. Depending on weather and exactly...
I agree that there is no need to panic and the guns are not disassembling themselves. At least one person tried a new pin and had the same issue. I’ll be interested in what Ernest thinks about this...
Thanks for the reply! Anyone else have this issue?
I absolutely love my LTT 92! I am only at 1300 rounds so far, but it has really impressed me. I am now seriously rethinking my "semi monogamous" relationship with CZ. I will be posting a more...
I am BY NO MEANS an expert. I am a lifelong shooter (blasting cans and targets in the desert a few times a year since I was a kid), but only started seriously training about two years ago.

So... I was able to replicate this issue with my p09. It was VERY easy once you know what to do. Although I have over 5500 rounds without so much as a hickup on my p09, I feel that this issue is...
Maybe I missed it, but has anyone posted a video of this? I am having trouble visualizing how to make this malfunction occur.
Edit to add:
I have 5500 rounds through my P09 with a Cajun Pro...
2 range session and 300 flawless rounds later, I am even more enamored with this pistol.

I am really loving my new Elite LTT. The trigger and attention to detail on the gun are nothing short of amazing. The LTT grips are great, and a nice compromise between aggressiveness and comfort....
After 150 rounds at the big outdoor range, I remain very VERY impressed. I will do a more comprehensive post later.
The Ameriglo sights are really great.
I got my new LTT 92 today. I have yet to fire it, and have done a little more than hold it and try fire it a few times. At this point, all I can say is “WOW!” There’s a lot to like about this...
Langdon Tactical has really impressed me so far!
I placed my order yesterday around 3:30. I had a few notes / questions about spring weights and sights. Aimee called me within a few minutes of...
I'll let you know after I get my pistol. I just placed my order today.
