Brass Monkey Bullets.....quality coating, and they have a new white coating that they feel is better. Good pricing and free shipping. Usually ships same day
Thanks for the help. Indeed, and surprisingly Fed flight control 8 pellet would NOT fit 7, nor would low recoil 8 pellet Remington. Federal slug, Winchester 9 pellet 00, and Hornady 8 pellet would...
1301 tactical, marked LE only. Advertised as holding 7 rounds in tube, but only holds 6. IMO that's sufficient, but a little disappointed it doesn't hold 7. Any ideas what's up? Is this common?
I frequently recommend .22 pistol or .22 rifle (M&P 15-22) for SD IF the shooter feels comfortable in its use. Arthritic hands, new shooter, recoil sensitive are some of the factors that plays into...
Anyone who considers themselves a student of self-defense or if you are LEO should attend this class. Few have done the research and put the time in a presentation such as John Hearne. His lectures...
I posted earlier about my Competitor experience....bad. Since I bought a Rival Steel. Great gun so far. I generally shoot a couple hundred rounds per week. The rival has made me set aside my...
Not doubting your experience, but I’ve not seen the flickering. So if it develops, I have no problem seeking a different platform.
Just bought my second Haven. 1st one has at least a thousand rounds through it and just as good as my SRO. 2nd one mounted on a Rival steel. Probably 500 rounds. Yes the battery compartment screw...
IMO, shotguns are generally perfect for close quarters/ home defense. Also, unlike handguns, one serving per bad guy will generally suffice. So a shotgun that holds 5-6 rounds should be plenty and...
PD wadcutters is what I roll with for range and carry in .38 Special. Going to be hard to find much of anything else.
I've seen 3 SCCYs through the carry classes I've taught....no problem. Mine are 'fishing or truck guns' however. I did shoot one in a BUG match without issue. For the money and after one is wrung...
My first SCCY CPX2 would not cycle a HP. Called SCCY and they sent prepaid label. Gun back to me in 1 week and feeds 5 different brands HP perfectly. Fantastic result and CS. I have one other I...
Bought the new competitor a couple of weeks ago. After several hundred rounds I've already sold it. Very disappointed in the 'Pro Series' performance. With a bench rest couldn't come close to...
Equipment Guidelines: Gear permitted for Defensive Pistol competition must be specifically designed for everyday carry
(NOT for range or competition use)
Just sayin'
So does this mean the M&P competitor isn't allowed from the start because of its name!?!
I have the SRO, Holosun 407, Romeo 0, and my newest is the Ameriglo Haven. I know of at least a 1/2 dozen in use...no problems and a lot of dot for the money. For better or worse, owned by Trijicon...

I won't load without the Lee FCD. I did have a similar problem with 45 RN. The ogive was more distal to the nose and had to simply shorten OAL. Problem solved.

I checked with Dave Spaulding before I bought mine. No problems on his end after multiple classes over multiple days. Couple of friends I shoot with have not had any problems with theirs. I've shot...
I read that green requires a darker window, which in turn may decrease one's vision through the glass at night. Anyone heard/experienced this?
Call Hornady....they have always been excellent with service and advice.
Some things are better left alone...
