I found mine at a random pawn shop in North Carolina that was selling online and shipped to my FFL, I just kept googling the model number for a few weeks until I found one.
I only had time for a quick 100 rounds today but it seemed fine. Shot some groups at 25 yards and it was holding 5 or 6" 10 shot groups with the crap Magtech 115gr bulk stuff. I won't hold that...
Forgot to mention, the trigger measured right at 6 pounds; It feels like a normal M&P 2.0 trigger.
Just got mine in. Haven't shot it yet, although may try some USPSA with it tonight. The stock sights are tall as hell; won't fit into some holsters. Also I wasn't too impressed with these...
The CORE will be released in 12-24 months after everyone who didn't really want this one because it wasn't a core, broke down and bought it anyway.
Sorry if already posted.
Not really sure why, but I ordered one. Sure the M&P is kinda the ford taurus of the pistol world...but for some reason I keep buying them. I guess this is the only way...
The the original photo I posted isn't me. This is how I end up looking on my EDC 629 (living in AK).
Thanks all. I was shooting a 629 N-frame at this class and tried briefly to switch to the thumbs tucked grasp at the suggestion of the instructors; didn't like it. I have tried it before on my own....

I have always gripped revolvers this way, from j frames to n frames. I recently took a chl class and the instructors didnt like it at first, but once they saw I was shooting ok with it they...
Add me to the list of people who have problems with an S&W revo. I have a 340 and 629 that have been great after a thousand or so rounds each. I have a 327 on the other hand that had to go back...
Since .44 special seems to be no good, I'll probably just stick with .44 magnum for self defense since my revolver can shoot it. I'll try to find the 300 gr Hornady XTP or 225 Corbon DPX since Doc...
Thanks again for the info, any idea what velocity you were getting from the .44 gold dot in that test (I'm guessing sub 800 out of the 2.5"?) and what the threshold for expansion in 4LD would be? ...
True. I wonder if a 5" barrel vs a 2.5" makes enough of a velocity difference to matter or if there is simply not enough powder in these factory .44 special gold dot loadings. I would love to order...
Wow that .44 gold dot did not expand at all. That's not reassuring.
Moved way north and couldn't bring my autos. Have been carrying a 5" full lug 629 with Blazer 200gr Gold Dots. I find that the aluminum cases aren't really that bad to reload quickly.
I wonder...
I have both M&P 40 and M&P 9mm platforms. I have run them both on bill drills back to back. I find that accuracy and speed increase by about 10% with the 9mm on bill drills @ 10 yards, both using...
I would not buy more M&P's than I had to. I have a bunch and they are basically worthless because you can buy a new one from S&W so cheaply. Selling my used M&P 40's for less than $200 is hardly...
Never. I'm a masochist and blindly loyal to S&W and the M&P. It's like being married someone who shoots your dog (jams), spends all your money (parts breakages), and cheats on you (non existent...
Not offending me. This whole experience with the 2.0 and trying to switch to 9mm has turned me off to shooting in general, honestly. It's certainly not something I wanted. Function testing new...
Finally got around to shooting mine, been busy with work and family issues. Only 250 rounds of 147gr HST down so far, but it didn't malfunction. I'll see if it can go the distance on the 2000 round...
Just keep in mind, my 2.0 didn't develop any problems until over 1900 rounds in and was perfect before that, highly recommend a 2000 round challenge on these to verify yours is gtg.
Finally got mine back today. Will begin the testing and evaluation again. The repair slip said they replaced the extractor and polished the chamber.
Yeah but I do idpa ccp division with it and full sized magazines make it too tall for that division, compact mags with the pinky extension are still small enough, although I do carry a full sized mag...
No, they've had it for about a month now, no word.
I have a close family member than is an M.D. and they basically just said to refrain from doing things that caused the injury and give it time. They said nerves regrow but they do so very slowly, so...
