The Lee APP, has it's own thread here, would be perfect for this. I had about 2000 9mm 124gr coated bullets that I had loaded on a 3 stage progressive. I don't like to seat and crimp together and...
GJM has one in the for sale section.
You can't go wrong with a P07 or P09. The DA pull really smooths out with some shooting or a little polishing, the single action has a light rolling break. The ergos are excellent. CGW and CZ Custom...
My experience with Ruger 1911's mirrors yours. Mine was in 45 and a Commander, but it had some nice features for the price and was very reliable. Like you, If they had a 9mm CCO model I'd jump on it....
From your first picture it looks like the trigger cam is making contact with the hammer under the Single Action cocking notch while it is still in contact with the Double Action sear. Page 52 of the...
I like the semi round butt. The 10-8 looks great.
If you don't mind, I'd like this as well.
Norrells Molyresin.
I did but it took some doing. I purchased an old Police Positive cylinder and crane and used them and the original ratchet. The PP crane has a shoulder so you can shim between it and the cylinder,...
Thanks! The stocks are Houge. I'd prefer checkered without finger grooves but am impressed with these and the price was right.
Wanted to try and fix up an old Colt and found this Cobra. It had significant rust damage on the barrel shroud and pitting everywhere else. The cylinder end shake was out of spec and the bolt dropped...
I parkerized it. Originally I planned to top the parkerizing with a coat of Norrels Molyresin. The longer I leave it this way the more I like it though.
Thanks! Yes, I cut the barrel to 3". I like the look of the 3" K Frames but they can be pricey, plus I like to tinker
Solder. Used a woodruff key for the blank. Used the lower temp solder from Brownells. I really like that stuff, works great on 1911 stake on sights also.
Thanks! I cut the barrel down. Used a hacksaw then a facing reamer to true it up. Finished with a 45 degree crown.

I stippled a set of the PGS Hideout Grips.
I did.
Have today off so I ran a couple hundred rounds through this little guy. Happy Thanksgiving!

I have a reduced power hammer spring in right now, it's about 6.5#, used a GP100 spring. I followed the Kuhnhausen manual for the trigger job. The only odd thing it required was to make a DA sear...
The SS can have a sublime DA pull. I prefer it to my K and L Frames but the L is really close.
On your more recent Wilson 9mm 1911's, are they using barrels with a single upper lug now? I had heard so and it was a factor in their improved reliability.
I can't tell a huge difference with the SRT kit installed vs. stock. Maybe some in dry fire but even less when shooting. The parts are excellent, look to be EDM'd vs. the stock MIM, and might add a...
I'm debating if Omega gun #3 will be another 07 or if I should get an 09. 1st world problems man.
I wonder if adding a couple of roller sizes to CGW's catalog would be all it would take to have a plug and play way to eliminate any chance of this occurring. Maybe 0.210 and a 0.215. I'm tempted to...
