Want to lessen your CCW printing?
Simple. Don’t iron your shirts.
Forgive my ignorance, but what is the special thing about Dayton gun Hanen specials? Or is it simply a low supply, high demand gun?
Not sure if this in PC for the forum, but I saw this and wanted to share. Enjoy.

These accounts all belong to keystone. It's doesn't take much for a high volume seller to build up a couple of very legit looking dummy accounts, and they have been at it for years.
Lots, but take a look at some of their other auctions and see for yourself. These guys seem to have a real affinity for shafting people with Colts. And they are not the only ones. There are a number...
Take a close look at the two “bidders”. One was created 12/8/2020, the other 1/22/2021.
This auction is as real as the tooth fairy. It’s a scheme to artificially bump up the value of the items...
That’s an outfit that I wouldn’t trust even if the pope endorsed them. NIB my ass.
That's not good. The Carry Comp is supposedly a "PC" gun. I would have thought they would put effort into making trigger better than the other models.
Well, all the more reason to go for a 66 over...
I'm not really concerned about recoil as both will recoil a lot less that my 386. I was thinking more in terms if S&W does do $300 worth of extra work warranting the extra cost of the gun.
But...
I'm looking for a new concealed carry gun. I normally carry a S&W 356 but the recoil is a little "snappy" and I found using the safari land comp 6 shot speedloaders for K frames a lot easier to use...
I tend to put more stock on the opinion of people with actual experience of the firearm they are expressing their opinion on.
I stated it’s my opinion that the new Python better value than a new S&W. You are welcome to disagree with my opinions.
Current S&Ws are not the same quality as those from 30-40 years ago. The new Python is as well fitted and finished as the originals, and has a better DA trigger. In all honesty, I am of the opinion a...
Agreed. It does look like a gap top and bottom.
I’m picking up a Model 24 tomorrow, so now I’m really worried. If it has a visible gap it’s going back to the seller. I don’t care what S&W says. A...
#2 and #3 make sense given Rufus and Skeeter are working on the S&W assembly line rather than the qualified gunsmiths of old.
#1 not so much. The older S&Ws (without gaps) are way more accurate...
Do you know why they do that?
The flag is the component that locks the hammer. Without the lock in place you rely on gravity alone to prevent it from engaging. Quite likely it moves to and fro from the locked position every time...
It shouldn’t be normal but sadly it has become the norm as of late at S&W.
Safariland Comp II Group 4 - Part # J-K2C SKU 1103418
Parts at Hastings. Not much on a MR73 you don’t see on an S&W, so I suspect most competent gunsmiths will do. Small differences but the basic design is the same.
Strange, I own three MR73s, one a well used surplus, and none have even a hint of end shake.
How do you like the Janz?
Preparation H hemorrhoidal wipes (with witch hazel).
Mental or physical age?
It is really sad that we have to check for that on a S&W.
