Noticed when changing battery today. The contact was loose behind the battery, I took it out for the pic. No issues when shooting though. Going to try to send it back to aimpoint and see what they...
Nameless armament. Great work and quick turnaround.
For what it’s worth. I had the bright idea to chop the grip on an extra 43x frame and use the cr920 mags with a shield arms steel mag release. So I went ahead and bought one of the 10 rounders to see...
How’d you get a red frame? A prototype or something? Looks cool. The only option on their site I see is red slide with black frame.
That is super cool I didn’t realize the new models were for sale yet. I went ahead and bought a 115 and am going to do the same as you.
I have no personal experience with family firearms but there are frequently deals from them posted on reddit gundeals and they seem to have a good reputation.
Totally understand, I have a stock 19 with sentimental value I won’t have milled either.
If you do try the dovetail mount post back with your experiences. Good luck!
I know you don’t want to send your slide to get milled, but if the hold up is turnaround time there are reputable shops...
Is a $200 brownells slide too much? Could easily sell it if its not your cup of tea.
With the Dave Lauck sights on my 342pd I was able to shoot a few cylinders worth in a group about the size of a fist at 12 yards. That’s shooting moderately quick but nothing crazy. It’s a big...
I wish I could buy just the frame to try and swap over all my 43x parts and use their mag.
Which sights are you having installed?

Looks to be in stock
It was under a week. $275 for black irons, add $50 for the red fiber optic front. Night sights were also an option but more expensive and a longer wait time from what I understand, I don't remember...

The post on the last page finally convinced me to send mine in too. Very...
Did anyone ask for a quote from Novaks for that rear sight mod?
I still like my 48 mos a lot after a year of having it. Right around 1k through it with no problems other than a nice squib load from blazer brass. Ive stuck with the stock mags and don't plan to...
So if the current 2011 design needs slim mags towards the feed lips because of the frame geometry, would tweaking the frame to fit different mags mess with other part compatibility like triggers and...
I have a gen 5 19 and I cut the right side off just above the trigger pin. I rounded it off and smoothed the cut with a dremel. Works fine and I haven’t noticed any issues. I’m a lefty and I too hate...
Sample of one but I got a Zanotti earlier this year and I like it. You can specify hinge side, lock combo, etc. Took just over 2 months to get it.
^ I did it and it works fine. I opened the right side notch with a cutoff wheel on a dremel. No big deal IMO.
That is a bummer. Id personally prefer they came with unprotected batteries because its just one less thing to go wrong however rare an issue is.
What about a tiny bit of bailing wire so you can twist it shut?
