Yes.
But one of my 380s was about15" to 18" low at a hundred feet (I fixed that by lowering the front sight about 1/16 inch). The other 380 was spot on. Both of my 22 conversion slide assemblies...

Yes.

I'm carrying one of mine right now. I like it almost as well as my 9mm Airweight J-frame Conversion.
I like 'em yellow.
This was a compression event, not a decompression event.
I'll drink to that. I'm short and fat (never thought I'd have that problem -photo attached-the weight crept up on me with age-I'm 81). I mostly wear cheap George brand slacks that I buy at Walmart....
"And a huge percentage of people here are running snubs in their pockets so the option for a grip like that really isn't viable".
Yeah, I'm one of that huge percentage. I pocket carry that gun...
I use 147gr 9x19 jhp xtp, several brands.
Power is a compromise, averaging 952 fps and 292 ft-lbs which is adequate for my purposes. They do expand. Recoil is quite painful, so I use the Shooting...
Re snubs having less grip to hang onto.....
Not necessarily.
My primary carry is a J-frame with Herrett Shooting Star Conversion grips.

"This. In tennis, the racquet is already in your hand so you have some understanding and control of its orientation at all times. It’s much easier to then shift the orientation of the racquet in your...
That's true. Pro level tennis is more difficult. Takes about 30 hours per week for several years to become proficient.
Grip shape is somewhat similar, hand positioning is just as critical (perhaps more so), and you have to do it far more often and just as fast when playing tennis.
"It is EXTREMELY important for the gun to be in the same position, always".
Why is it that there isn't a problem when shifting between Eastern, Western, and Continental grips on each stroke when...
"Not the story - movie - by Theodore Sturgeon?"
The story was great, typical of Sturgeon. The movie, not so hot.
I'll watch this tonight.
Very nice.
I was of the impression that the problem was with the spar attachments, not the spars themselves.
Glad to hear about SallyB.
My guess is that the 17s will be back in the air in about 18 months.
Flew the J3 today, shot the Browning 1911-380/22 Convertible in 380 mode, and just generally goofed off. Great afternoon....
" I worry about older folks (I am),"
I don't, but I'm only 81.
I dunno, I don't keep track. I'd guess somewhere between several hundred and a couple of thousand or so, mostly concentrated in the one cylinder I use most of the time. Like I said, not much...
I haven't noticed that problem so far, but I only have six of them, so not much experience.
It occurs on the front face of the cylinder. Sandblasting from unburnt powder when firing light rounds.
The cylinder faces don't get reamed, so the original protective coating remains.
However, the titanium .357 magnum cylinders are limited to a minimum 120 gr in order to inhibit erosion. ...
I've got three 637-2 Airweight J-frames that have been lightened up with titanium .357 Magnum cylinders and reamed for 9mm. The 120 gr limit on these cylinders is to limit titanium cylinder face...
I've never lived in a State where people leash or pen their dogs. Doing so seems weird to me.
In 80+ years, I've never been attacked by a dog.
My solution is to carry a J-frame
I usually shoot pistols at 25 yards to 100 feet, but I plan to give one of my Browning 85%1911-380/22 Compact Convertibles to my daughter, and my uneducated guess is that 25 feet would be a good...
