It completely failed my 4LD test and had a passthrough on a jackrabbit at 10 yds. HST has been 100% reliable when shot through the same media. I just did a windshield test on 124 gr standard pressure...
Hi everyone, I wasn't sure where to post this. I have a friend that's looking at the HHV standard helmet made in China and the HHV Lite made in the USA, does anyone have experience with either of...
I've had the same thing happen to me. The ones without sealant may actually have clear sealant. I've also had red sealant on the primer as well.
The 124 grain is still a wide single cannelure, no design changes that I can see.
Hi, I have a new G45 with a Radian Ramjet/Afterburner combo and love it. It has functioned fine with 115 gr AAC fmj, 124 gr Federal fmj
, and 147 gr Federal fmj. During testing yesterday I ran...
I've had all three colors, all with the double cannelure design, and all have performed well on 4 legged creatures.
With that in mind, are you still using the 147 or did you switch to either 124 or 124+p?
Thank you for all of the insightful replies! After careful consideration I am leaning towards the G45 with the Radian barrel/comp, a Holosun 407co x2 w/a steel CHPWS or FCD plate , and the new Glock...
Hi there. I currently have a Gen 5 Glock 17 with Ameriglo Agent sights that is my EDC piece. It has about 4,000 rounds through it with one malfunction caused by purposely limp wristing it. I'm...
It will penetrate more due to holding together through barriers/bone etc.
Get some Federal Fusion bonded ammo. It expands very well and shouldn't overpenetrate.
Here you go.

Your quote about time is spot on,hence why I carry a Glock 17 with 147 gr HST vs a Glock 21 and 230 gr GD. My groups are tighter, splits are shorter, and I'm about a second faster in overall time on...
Given this, would you still recommend the 147 over the 124 +p? Thanks!
Here is my testing of the newer 147 gr HST vs the 124 gr+p HST in different mediums. Read pages 16-19.

I'm curious if anyone is going to test this against the FBI peotocol,as it seems to be a mix between the DPX and G2 designs....
He's in the Portland area so Antifa is a big concern. I will ask him to return or cancel this order and get some armor from a reputable company. Level 3+ is plenty of protection for him.
Hi. My father in law is looking for armor and decided to purchase the RTS Tactical Active Shooter kit with plates for $390. Considering my Scarab cost about that along with my Hesco 3810 plates being...
My bad, this was shot through my carry piece,Gen 5 Glock 17.
124 gr +p HST shot through a jackrabbit chest into dirt.

You're quite welcome.
All of this was done with Gen 5 Glock 17 with the factory 4.5" barrel.
As you can see, zero failures to expand when shot through various mediums, including different tissue density, depth, and bone structure. I have two instances of single shot drop on jackrabbits at 15...
Here is a 147 gr HST round fired through a dead coyote's chest area.
