I have 1 of each. I prefer the 45 for its full sized grip and mags. My gen 4 19 has a magwell on it. So it feels better in my hands than a stock 19.

I had a 4506-1 back in the 90's. It was an excellent pistol. It was pretty accurate. Like an idiot, I ended up trading it away for something else. The last generation of metal Smith semi autos...
That looks like an accurate load. I can honestly say that I have never shot .44 Russian before. I have know about it for decades, just never encountered the round before.
I have used Knipex tools for years. They make quality stuff.

Smith and Wesson 17-5 with VZ G10 black cherry grips.
I would love to find a Smith 625-4 with a 5 inch barrel. The one time I found a 625 locally, it was way put of my price range.
I had a couple of Smith 1006's back in the day. Sold them all when mags got pricey. Now I have a Glock 40 as my sole 10mm pistol.
Sharp looking pistol.
Nice. Did you shoot any .40 S&W thru it? Does that model come in stainless? I tried searching fo a Smith 610 pre-lock version, but most sellers want more than I am willing to pay.
Nice looking Smith. Love the Tyler T grip.
Alot of us in our mid 50's learned how to shoot with wheelguns. I know many guy's who jumped on the hi cap band wagon in the 90's and never looked back. Some of us still like to stay proficient...
If you can't carry around the waist/back due to medical issues, maybe consider off body carry. I have used my Wilderness safe packer before and nobody has ever given me a second look. I don't...
That looks like it would work nicely for road biking.
This is the holster I use for my Sig 239. http://https://www.midwayusa.com/product/957226588?pid=759316
My small pistol is a Sig 239 9mm. My only non-full sized pistol that I own. It's for checking the mail, walking the dog around the block. Basically, it's my backup pistol. I carry it in a Galco...
$30 is a decent price. Assuming that the VP9 mags are 15rd versions.
When I bought my lower that I was going to build into a pistol, the 4473 was marked as other.
The finish on your P30 came out really well.
I feel the USP really shines in .45acp caliber. I have a USP45 V1 and a USP45 Tactical LE V1 as my preferred .45acp pistols. I have a P30L V3 in 9mm that I actually prefer over the USP9.
They make really nice grips.
That is sexy.
If you reload, .45 Colt. If you don't .44 mag/.44special is easier to find.
I bought a 19X when they first came out. It shot well, but I really hated the front magwell lip. So I sold it and got a 45. I am quite pleased with it.
It all boils down to personal preference. I have a USP45 Tactical LE, USP45, P30L V3, VP9. I have owned other HK pistols. The one thing that I have to add, is that in several decades of shooting,...
If it's in good shape, $400 is a great deal. I suggest that you shoot it first, then see if it needs anything.
