BUMP
Is this ever going to happen or what. Seems like every "3 months out" comes and goes and then they extend it another 3-4 months.

Jerry, do I know you from IDPA? I'm in Atlanta as well and also a 1911 nerd.
Silence of the Lambs
Well granting that familiarity can be a factor, the fact that even the cheapest worst examples of the 1911 pattern gun are inherently more accurate, pointable, ergonomic, and have vastly better...
This is the grip im talking about... sorry for my poor choice of words.
see what you've done Todd? Start the Springer test and now this place is full of 1911 nerdz ;)
I think we are misunderstanding each other I will try to take a picture for you.
I'm basing it on the exact reasons you state actually.
With your thumb on the safety you have an exact index point and your support hand drops right into place, both thumbs forward. Ditto for week...

NICE!
man... is it the Bullseye making all that gritty looking crud? Your other test gun looked wet and cruddy like that too. Mine was dry and powdery almost.
ETA: glad you like the "laying on...
seriously... this happens to me everytime.
Do tupperware shooters not do this for some reason? Seems automatic to me but wtf do I know.
+1
Also I know you said you sent one of the guns or both to have extractors fit for it. Did you swap extractors at some point and I missed it?
mariodsantana... actually the finish is KG 2400 Flat over Park, not Duracoat.
:)
hey brother! yep no way your getting it back now.
