If I may, I suggest sticking to supersonic loads if you will be using it for hunting. Some slower, subsonic, loads have tended to underperform in this role.

Since you stripped the threads, you may need the whole thing, including the cartridge latch assembly (part C8A912), not just a screw (part C95467) and lever (part C5F184).

:D Once I noticed how thin those threads were, I started being extra careful with the screw. I'd rotate it counterclockwise until the threads met before screwing it in.
