My fun budget is tapped for now but I may revisit this later. Have a Viper PST 2 1-6 that I like but could stand to be improved on a 16" w/ bipod. This would be the perfect replacement.

Oooh this is tempting.
Amen - wish I had gotten one when they were more widely available!
My realistic wishlist: more dots on the glocks I already own.
OK, phew. That is reassuring :)
...for lupus...? How much?
It does have the very well describe side effect of prolonging your QT interval which predisposes you to potentially lethal dysrhythmia and cardiac arrest. It is not a...
I have a healthy stock of 9mm and a decent amount of 5.56; probably enough to maintain profiency for the next few years. Plus a grab bag of 45, 40, 38spl, and .22. However, agreed with all the above....
Depending on the size of the town/who get tested and why, I could imagine lots of reasons % positivity rates would swing wildly between town to town.
Still, if they're just anecdotes from friends...
If they were tested through a healthcare system who billed their insurance for the PCR, they should report that to the state Dept of Ins. for fraud.
Probably not enough hydroxychloroquine or ivermectin in there.
It is incorrect to say that "many covid 19 deaths are really flu deaths." More on how COVID-19 deaths are reported.
Influenza infection/mortality is down dramatically this year for a number of...
I was just wondering if that would be more common. Seems like a lack of ammo has to be really hurting big ammo vendors and small gun stores alike. Im sure the guns are still moving to some degree but...
Sort of weird to attribute that to a specific lot without knowing more
It isn't really that simple, unfortunately. For a good comparator, see Hy's law
What is curious to me is why they...
Oh man. Color me envious
Same... Glad I've been stashing it away for a long time. I remember paying 80cpr this summer and feeling gross about it. in hindsight, good call.
Just came back from the range today after zeroing the new Recce threw together on the lower that once belonged to my cheap-o PSA 11.5" upper. After shooting my Optika6 1-6 and my ZD 1-4 (both by...
Anaphylaxis, or something else?
pangloss probably knows better than I do, but I'd guess this is because of the mRNA vaccine approach, which probably does a better job of activating T and B...
Lol sorry. In addition to all the med ed I took latin in HS so I am guilty of indulging in those 10 cent words more often than I should :P
So sorry to hear about your mom. COVID definitely...
Oh, certainly .... I was just thinking that in the absence of ammo, it's something to do with their gun :) It's what I did when I was too broke to afford a regular ammo supply.
It seems like...
9mm? I feel like I've seen listings for ~65-70cpr for new ammo but they don't stay in stock terribly long. The aguila deal was definitely an unusual score.
On the bright side maybe now is a good...
Oh man. I spoke too soon about the vax side effects. Had killer myalgia/arthralgia that kept me up last night. Injection sight is incredibly sore too. Feels like Mike Tyson gave me a dead arm.
on...
So far about 6 hours out I feel about the same/ maybe a touch less soreness than annual flu vax. Maybe a touch of subjective fever too.
Next dose is in 3 weeks on the nose - can't come soon...
Got (almost) all my parts together to turn the "el Cheapo" AR Pistol into a 16" Recce (top; older Recce on bottom). Scope is a Meopta ZD 1-4. Just waiting on an MBT-2S from LaRue to finish it off.

Hah, happy to help however I was able. Still feeling like a bit of an armchair QB in the tail end of my PhD, but just got my clinic schedule for MS3 all squared away so I will be a real boy sooner...
Got my first dose of the vaccine this AM (Pfizer). happy to get that taken care of. Next dose scheduled for Feb 4.
Can confirm aguila makes great ammo. I've shot a lot of their 9mm 124gr stuff in the past, used it back when I competed in USPSA as it consistently knocked down poppers and was pretty well priced.
