Cut 14 tractor bucket loads ( New Holland 5010, 62 hp , 4 cylinder diesel) of wood. Used my Stihl MS 660 100 cc saw, 25" bar, Stihl full chisel chain. Love that saw.

To me the main issue with GL30 is that the back of the grip is so short all recoil is into thumb joint. With GL 19, 17 ,21 etc.. the heel of your palm...

I carried GL30s in IWB @ 3:00 and AIWB for 5+ years. Shot 10,000 rounds a year starting about 1998.

Always reloaded with 13 rd GL21 mags to eliminate mag pinch of XL hands on reloads.

HK USP 45 10 round mags work well IMHO. Full capacity mags are 12 rounds.
