I'd like to see a Swenson reproduction too. When I was young I would read the various gun rags of the day and almost drool on the pictures of custom 1911 pistols, especially Swenson 1911s'.
If Glock had developed something like this it might of been our new military pistol instead of the Sig 320.

Wonder9, I got the railed version of your Tisas. I replaced all the springs, put in a Wilson Bullet Proof Magazine Release which is slightly extended and replaced the ambi safeties with a Wilson...
I might be jumping to conclusions, but I'm already thinking it could be terrorism.
I am interested in the 49 for Stock Division in GSSF Matches. I don't like the hump on the larger frame 17/34 and the 49 would weigh a little more and have a longer sight radius. I have yet to see...
Mine, a sample of one, works well with Wilson Magazines and Power Mags feeding 230gr FMJ. When I use the factory magazines I tend to get nosedives even with ball ammo. I think this is due to the feed...
I would just send my slide off to: https://www.novaksights.com
I know I'm going to muddy the waters, but look at the Ruger SR1911. I think it has a lot to offer. It's plunger tube is casted with the frame so it won't pull off locking your thumb safety in the on...
For me the dot disappears out of the top of the window in recoil and when the pistol returns the dot reappears, but in a slightly different place in the window. I realize this is a grip/recoil...
I have been shooting Indoor GSSF Matches for a couple of years now. I stated off shooting iron sights and last year made the transition to a Holosun MOS. I found I could not track the dot as easily...
I didn't see this video posted here, but here's a video with Ken's thoughts on Stage 1 of the Air Marshall Test.

Here's a video review of a PDP I watched this morning: https://youtu.be/8927rEvTAIE?si=Ge8M2yGWMzgVxEiq
A full size 1911 in 9MM with good ammo. It pains me to say that over a 1911 in .45ACP, but it is what it is.
The kicking a car bumper so hard the air bag deploys has been done before. :D

I will have to shoot mine again next week. I did try to replace the grips, but I think the specifications on the Tisas are off as some others have reported. Guess I'll just buy another set of grips...
Did the Tisas come with the sights that way from the factory or did you change them out for Novak Sights?
There is also "The Answer" made and installed by Novak which completely eliminates the grip safety.
I had a P85 and I wish I had kept it. It was built like a tank and I thought the trigger was as good as a Sig. This thread has me looking for one again.
I can't understand the daughter, She needs to take a speech class or something, although that seems typical of most young people today. A lot of these kids need to drink a big cup of shut the F up.
Good ending. I wish they could of found an excuse for playing this song at the end. https://youtu.be/o2TmyML0OWg?si=4bFlU1gHwaWum-Bb
I am so looking forward to another season of Justified.:D
I shot my Tisas JSOC this afternoon. The good news is the factory had made no attempt to lower the rear sight and it was shooting high. I was able to lower it to where the pistol was shooting POA....
I recently purchased a Tisas JSOC and the rear sight from the factory is adjusted almost to the top. I'm hoping the factory didn't sight it in and I can lower the rear Bo-Mar like sight at the range...
I found it did feel different when I shot my 1911 with a flat wired spring, but it went away in a few magazines.
