There is a very similar situation with the KC135. Part of that fleet is expected to still be flying till about 2040. A relative was involved with their proposed replacement, before and after his...
I've owned a FR8, Star PD, and an Iver Johnson Pony. That is about as obscure as I've gotten. Always thought a Newton rifle would be cool.
I'm more interested in obscure rifle calibers. ...
I haven't seen one, and I've looked. I'd really like to find an alloy frame 38 super.
Not sure what their QA/QC is these days, but Colt does make a 9mm rail.
For larger weights I like my Lyman, although I hate the 30min warm-up. For 223, I find it hard to beat the older purple/brown Redding's. I have a couple. Maybe paid $25/ea off fleabaay.
Once...
If I remember correctly, Jim Shockey had a post on FB awhile back speaking well of Jr and that they had hunted together.
Just about finished the Vince Flynn series of books and enjoyed them all. If you liked them, you might enjoy "I am Pilgrim" by Terry Hayes. It's my most recent favorite.
Most all my other...
I buy a quarter about every other year from a buddy that raises grass fed cows on the side. Being single, it lasts me awhile. I purchased a medium sized chest freezer several years ago. Everything...
I've been quite happy with my Honda powered Craftsman.
As a resident of Illinois, the HPA is my only hope short of moving. We finally got CCW, so there is always a chance.

Never been in a salt mine. Been in a dozen or so coal mines, the last one with a 4.5' seam. The coolest was a lead mine over in MO. The pillars there were 80' high. It did look like LOTR.
ISP switched to G-22's around 1999. One of my buddies was part of the trials when they switched from S&W 39's and +P+ 9mm's to the .40 G-22.
As to what ammo they are currently carrying, I don't...
FWIW, the plant I work at manufactures ammo for the A-10. I've personally had a hand in making many projectiles. The HEI rounds are impressive in every way imaginable.
I've moved a similar sized collection from IL to NV to AL back to IL. Luckily, I had a bunch of cheap cases. I drove everything personally.
I would suggest covering things up with some moving...
A year ago I saw Dak play in the Egg Bowl down in Starksville, that's about as close as I come to a Cowboy's fan. Living close to St. Louis, I'm a bit jaded when it comes to the NFL.
As a mining engineer I blew a hole in that plot pretty quick.
Personally I prefer this video. I really wish the NJ race would have become a reality, or they were still running at Indy. I had some sweet seats for that race.

I've been quite happy with my Meindl Perfekt's (offered through Cabela's). However, they will push your budget unless they are on sale. Made in Germany, for the most part, FWIW.
FWIW, while I don't remember where I read it, EMF, Navy Arms, Puma, and Rossi all come out of the same factory. While the quality may not be the highest, they are still decent rifles. At least my...
Mine is a Brookfield type. It's actually a US Tactical Systems, but I don't believe the exact model is still being made.

So, the city tears down a bunch of public housing, including some of the most notorious ever including Cabrini-Green and Robert Taylor. Problems that were once contained are now spread throughout...
