An interesting observation, and one to which I am sympathetic. But rather than a heavy gun, it was a VP9 and its wonderful trigger that made me a better shooter. Now I shoot mostly glocks, but it was...
I like this sentiment. A close one would be that everyone shoot Single Stack, major power factor. Long live SS!
Not necessarily. There's something to be said about heavier guns imparting an advantage. Stoeger concedes that a heavy pistol helps with reaching out to far targets at competition pace. And Alex Gutt...
nice shot! It is one of the most accurate pistols I've ever shot.
I prefer this method of disassembly. It preserves the fit between the bushing and the barrel. Larry Vickers teaches this method in his 1911 class, and Hilton Yam also promotes it. Both refer to it as...
I think Vogel goes out of his way to say that he takes a fraction of a second longer to grip his pistol properly before pulling it out....
Truth.

The reset on a USP LEM trigger is noticeably shorter than the reset on a P30. For those with big enough hands, the USP LEM is the way to go.
oh to have your "problem"! this trigger is made for you it seems:)
neither. I did try the medium backstraps, but to no avail....
so jealous! I need a curved trigger or longer fingers:(
just walked out of the range, 160 rounds on the performance trigger. rolling through the trigger so much more easier than a stock trigger. but the trigger face feels qnoticeably more forward, making...
Just buy a Caspian receiver designed for left handed shooters and have Springfield fit your Garrison slide onto it:). Then have Springfield spec the hybrid gun like the mighty Delta 1911.
A man...
But what your prestaging and reset taught you was not only to be mindful of your trigger press but also of the weight required to break the trigger. Once you know that your trigger requires only Xlbs...
Just be mindful that the late TLG was using a V4 or V4.1 LEM trigger, not the V1 that you are using. TLG did describe the V1 LEM as a two stage trigger, which I can attest to - I once owned a P30L...
If not a Glock? Likely a Sig Pro 2022, 92x or 92x compact, or something HK, say the VP9 or the USPc 9.
But I must say that after years in the wilderness I, like the prodigal son, have returned to...
Keen to hear whatg you have to say of the LEM V1.
I once owned a p30L V1 in 9mm, along with the VP9. The P30L V1 was admirably accurate, easy to group at 25yds. I found the long, sooffffttt takeup...
Due no doubt to the dual recoil spring. The front sights would track a crazy eight path whenever i shot the USP....
Have to agree. i too had an M9a3 that I sold.
I hope they make something like this for the 92x Performance. I'm not vey fond of the rubber grip that came with my 92xP
so sorry to hear of this. Hoping for the best for him.
Agreed. McKinsey is supposed to be the best and the brightest. The partners, principles, and associates involved knew exactly what they were doing and the implications of their actions.
Well golly! Just received the book.
My favorite section? "Why You Suck"
My least favorite aspect of the book? The title - two gerunds that follow each other. Though to be sure editing writing...
Well golly! A man can dream - I hope that this is the case.
Completely agree. I was just saying in jest:)
Mason Lane set the benchmark for what can be done with one handed shooting.
