Still enjoying the LCP 22. For me it runs best clean, but completely dry of any sort of lube.
After 3000 rounds I added a Galloway spring kit with +10% hammer and +10% extractor and -10% firing...
I sent it back to S&W and they turned it around in a month. Gunsmith notes: Repaired Yoke, Repaired Bolt, replaced extractor.
Indeed the extractor looks decent now:

I ran 80 Minimags...
I have messed with dots on a handgun for a decade. I was an earlier adopter and then went away from them for a while and came back. I feel that I still fish for the dot unless I am essentially...
I am very close to going back to just irons on the carry pistols, but keeping the dot on the training pistols.
The dot forces a good index and provides incredible trigger management feedback for...
Well crap. Anyone know if Wolff sells a hammer spring for this thing that is higher powered?
Okay I may have this little gun’s number.
Run it clean and completely dry. No dry lube, no lube at all. It just leads to fouling the thing up faster.
100 rounds of Minimags cycled fine in...
100% .380 LCP. LCR is too big. Edit: And heavy.
I hate to say this but I dry fire the crap out of mine with nothing. Never had an issue but I assume eventually something will break.
LCP MAX loaded with 10+1 = 14.1 oz
It's lighter than a loaded 340PD(14.4), LCR 22(15.7), LCR 38(16.2), Glock 42(16.3) and 44, and way lighter than a 642(17.1), Kahr PM9(19.5) or LCR 9mm(19.0) and...
The host is so biased and pushing on several issues it almost makes the podcast un listenable. But they include a lot of details and primary source interviews so overall I think it is worth it.
Wow no kidding!
I like the .22 LCP. But I don't trust it.
Unexplained failures to fire or extract randomly with a clean gun and various ammo have it on range toy only status. Which is too bad because it pocket...
I met a guy here who was a deputy in that shoot out! Small world. He was injured and a buddy killed in the ambush in the dirt road if I recall.
Thanks for the AAR.
I am sad that I am down to my last pair of somewhat fresh Altras. I stockpiled three, and it is time to go buying again soon.
It's an interesting and difficult scenario.
As an armed biker when I game it in my head I don't really see coming out on top. I would have to wait until the folks were distracted or something and...
Pistols in safe.
Loaded mags in ammo cans. One can per mag type.
Holsters strewn about.
Shooting gear in empty range bag.
Pick gun and holster and grab as many mags as desired, toss...
I know you don’t want to, but this is a great application for pocket carry.
I have also in 20 years of hiking in Arizona never come across a snake that warranted a bullet.
Grand Rapids MI OIS.
Hard one to watch.

As far as reliability, the 226 is one of the most reliable handguns in history, and the Stacatto isn't and likely will never be on the list of "highest reliability defense and duty handguns."
I need more time to digest that but it is fascinating and something I didn’t know was a problem.
Feels like Blade Runner.
Is the drone/robot dog thing some kind of crazy prank?
Pour over every morning. It's the best coffee I have found.
Nothing special grinder and recently went back to paper filters after experimenting with the metal sieves. They just didn't give the...
Go watch this documentary now. Absolutely edge of the seat. Highest recommendation.
