I've seen small OC sprays made with spike attachments, the one I saw was discontinued but here's a similar one....
Got this ugly Christmas sweater from Diamond MMA, who makes groin cups (the black spots) and posts some wild tests. Part of the proceeds go charity during Christmas.
Found this technique in e-book self defense manual, defender is on the left side trying to dislocate the attacker's jaw. Sparring with this move might be messy.
Gents, I am literally recovering from surgery for a detached retina (Oct 17) and am catching up on threads. This was discovered 2 weeks ago during an optometry appointment for new glasses where one...
Thanks for the replies. I admit that's an interesting decision to consider: 1) Leave BG on the ground, go to the door, and hope he doesn't resume an attack or 2) Carry BG and try to close a door...
Gents, is there a reason why Store Owner was dragging BG across the floor? I assume he was trying to determine if BG's were coming back or trying to catch a license plate.
Honestly, I just like the detail of the head and appreciate the time the maker put in to it, I also think it's a little funny (an insult to injury). There's even a $100 rubber trainer head out there...
because I can't afford a real one. Based on a European design, but with an East meets West touch (Western head, Asian wood and some ferrules from an old sword) and the head is 1lb and 40 oz.
I'm in. My Micro Loco/Moco pendant/key fob could use the company. :D
Here's another set of Spyderco pins (Shabaria, Ronin aka Micronin) among some others (EKI Commander, EKI Elvia and CS Desperado charms)
757, please post about the Trench Mace when you get it.
Not an impulse buy but I did spend part of the day making a CS Desperado charm with sheath, a devastating 2" OAL. :p
I made these lapel pins for the knives I want to try later (Tanto PM2, McBee, I did have a P'kal once) :)
Hi gents, I'm a revolver guy and I've used the SIRT and similar for the same reasons Cecil B has mentioned and I also have the STIC.
Re: Handguns. I went through 2 Laserlytes and the internals...
I’d also like to add something regarding break falls and rolls. #1 If you have previous MA experience great but please, when doing a forward roll just keep it at that and not a one handed forward...
I can't add much to this thread but I can relate some stories from me and my former classmates.
Nails and Jewelry. These never mattered to me in other MA's until BJJ. I've had several people tell...
A smaller p'kai sounds interesting, enough that I accidentally played with some leftover Spyderco parts.
Hi Gents, I'm also of the opinion of not really being into tactical pens but rather a pen that doesn't break and has some weight.
I tend to carry in the pants pocket, so pens under 6" that aren't...
DI1, I agree about punching with a folder, I just wanted to see what the current tech is out right now.
Flamingo, I don't have the folder anymore buutt here's a video that should help ...
Here's the Bestech Strelit, a folding push knife designed by Ostap Hel. This framelock flipper comes in various colors and steels, I got the Damascus blade in blue. While the Strelit is a flipper, it...
G. Ellifritz mentioned this site in his blog that might be worth a look.

I have a Colonel Blades trainer somewhere that I cut part of the ring off as it was irritating my finger when striking. If you want to play with it Cecil, OMW, or EG, you can have mine.
I recently...
