I have been wanting a K frame S&W in the 3" flavor.
Can't go for one of these, however. Too rough for me.
I used to have the stainless version, the 5926, that I sold when I was wanting something else. Good, solid gun, fun to shoot. And pretty darn heavy.
Kind of wish I had kept it. Mine was a police...
I shoot my G21 much better than any other GLOCK, even though it is way too big for my girly hands.
I would never have guessed that.
I have both, prefer DA/SA by a slight margin.
There are rumors going around on other forums that the "new" whatever may not even be a firearm at all.
Possible clothing or outside sports/survival equipment line.
I sure hope that isn't the...
Yep.
I've been somewhat wanting to add a couple of used, carry worthy K frames to the assortment, and have been mildly surprised at the rise in prices from not that many years earlier.
That's...
They seem to be gaining a bit more popularity locally. They seem to be moving, although slowly, at the 3 or 4 LGS I frequent, where a short while ago they were just gathering dust.
The price tags...
I usually carry one speed strip with my Detective Special, 6 rounds in it.
I have the speed loaders and the means to carry them, but I honestly can't see me effectively using those to reload...
90% of the time, I am carrying a DA/SA pistol or a revolver.
I will occasionally tote a Hi Power or 1911, but I prefer DA/SA. Nothing wrong with a striker fired, and I do get why they are popular....
I'm interested in the compact version.
But I don't know. I would want to carry it, and not sure I need another carry gun, especially one at that price point??
Maybe.......
Thanks to all for the replies!
They are helpful.......
I just picked up an almost new Italian made 92fs, and was wondering if someone could point out the differences between it and the M9, etc.? They look very similar in online photos and descriptions.

Great!
I logged on to ask this very question, good deal, learned what I needed to know.
I have purchased from Greg Cote before, good seller.
SP101 and Ryan Grizzle.
I had an early K9, foolishly traded it off.
My favorite single stack, hammer guns. 8 round mags, though. There are 10 rounders available for the Sig 239, though discontinued and pricey.
My Glock 36 has had zero failures, my Glock 30 has had a couple of FTFs.
It is a great carry pistol, mostly ignored, which is puzzling seeing how everyone went ga ga when Glock came out with...
Looks nice.
I believe the Wiley Clapp Commander is a pretty popular 1911. Lots of people seem to own one.
Yes.
Well worth the asking price. I know a couple of people who carry them regularly as their mainstay, I consider them well armed.
I do like your thumb safety. Beats the heck out of the ones on my stock MK III.
Nice!
I see you are going to acquire an HK USP Compact. Great gun.
I would keep it. I missed the boat getting one when they were still in production, now........... Too late.
I would love to find one NIB locally.
Interesting stuff, especially the XD observation.
Kind of eye opening when real life experience contradicts the internet groupthink and dismissal of certain brands, simply because they read and...
I have three Kramer OWB holsters, as well as one IWB. Two of them are horsehide.
Excellent holsters, tough as nails. They aren't the prettiest of leather holsters, just in case that would matter...
