Here’s hoping, like the style and a short sleeve would be great for the upcoming “flip flops and shorts” season.
Could without the logo but that’s easy enough to remove.
Funny how that works.
I can’t recall if it was LuckyGunner or SG, but someone had Fiocchi .32 Long FMJs in stock. For those looking for easy shooters and/or easy reloads.
I like to think the appropriate planets were in retrograde and my chakras were fine as the little guy ceased any further activity. A Clear Porcupine (TM) would have most likely turned around and...
It didn’t quite go well enough to sites on my 2” LCR but I can attest that, from a 3” LCRx, it’ll go right through a porcupine at about 20yds.
Those dot stickers are great. I usually raid the dollar store in the nearby redneckville for them once or twice a year. Plus 3x5 cards and 8” party plates and I’m set.
Good show, Lost River, those little wadcutters feel like a centerfire cheat code.
I love my LCR327, eagerly awaiting the 327 TORO to check out as do-everything-kinda-okay piece. Especially in...
I think he (Caleb) managed to get a Python and a Manhurin to give up their ghosts around the 1-2k mark. And I think he also had an escapade with the Super GP-100.
I need to dig out my notebook but the Hamre J grips were in the ballpark of 1.5 oz lighter than whatever flavor of VZ boot grips I have for the 442. And the UC grips look like they have more...
I, too, like Ballistol.
But I also hate cleaning firearms so the gallon of Slip 725 I bought in ‘15 or ‘16 is still going strong and is also non-toxic. A few sprays, let it soak while I sulk...
Caleb just hit 10k on his 82 and I was surprised how well the finish held up, given the prior reputation. It’s beat up but whatever they use (parkerizing?) looks decent.

My TORO is pretty awesome, really happy with it. Trigger went from “good for the price” to “competitive with S&W” over the first 600 rounds or so.
Plus, Expert Voice pricing is hard to resist.

AE 158 JSP
Mostly because I still have the better part of a case left and I don’t shoot or carry magnums very often. But the AE shoots well and I have little doubt it’s up to the task if I...
Snubs, WCs and/or Underwood penetrators.
3”-4” guns, Critical Defense 110s, only really because I have quite a bit of them and they shoot to fixed sights well enough.
I’m partial to Mika for most “pocket” things but, if the coat pocket is large enough then the Force Option pocket holster from Wilderness seems solids. And designed by a great guy.
I kept a FO on the 3” but went back to OEM on all the littles.
Same, I hope it sells well and encourages some further development but I’m too much into the LCR to change. Plus, it (LCR) just...
If one is new to the 1911 then throwing a small monthly fee to the 10-8 Patreon page is probably the very best way to learn.
Bypass all the self-titled experts and shills.
I do enjoy Finland’s foreign stance on their neighbors. “Feel welcome to fuck around, demonstrate your military and political ineptitude yet again, and find out.”
Biased, as I’m in a restricted state; but I wish Staccato would bring back a single-stack. (The original C was a single stack, right?)
Real Avid has some good basic-ass tools that cover the bases.

10-8 may be more “spartan” but definitely good enough for the casual user....
Guess I’ll take the buggy to barn-raising; as I’m sitting in front of a Taurus 1911 with a LCR22 in my pocket.
At least I verified that guy’s still an ass.
I think our own jetfire, did a pretty...
Totally common and expected to re-zero. Different chassis/stocks have slightly different fits.
One of the weirdest moments I’ve had in the “gun space” was actually in my old employer’s (aerospace industry) break room. The young engineers, old-timer machinists, and assorted office nerds...
Who does the hive mind like for 1911 optic milling? Been looking for a hobby so the 1911 itch is back.
