We’ve fielded several hundred G47s since Jan 2021, and overall we’ve been very happy with them. My work gun (G47-ACRO P1-TLR1) has north of 25,000 rounds through it (shot almost daily on the range)...

Fake news. Joe says that we're on the mend and doin' fine.
It was an honor shooting with you over the last few days, and thank you for the kind words.
Bottom line- if you’re an LE RDS instructor, you need to train with Jedi for the reasons articulated by...
Heading to NJ over Memorial Day weekend and will be carrying my APX A1 Carry with six-round mag, loaded with non JHP ammo. Will also have my retired creds, agency issued LEOSA card and latest copy of...
Excellent customer service, but the unit itself is junk. I encountered units that weren't functional right out of the box, a unit that went completely dead after six live (9mm) rounds through a P10F...
We’re all in this together.

I’m really digging a local coffee joint, Cuppi Coffee, and their pour over offerings, esp the Congo Mapendo blend.

I was shooting this stuff when I was a kid in grade school. I had a Rossi (I think) lever action 357/38 that blasted many a water jug or tree stump.
Here's how I mount my pistol-mounted optics for work and play, and this method has kept about a dozen closed emitter (ACROs/509Ts/MPS) optics firmly in place;
-Degrease mounting screws and...
As others have said, get the 19.5 MOS. That way, you can add an optic now or whenever you feel like it.
I use Elite Shooting Sports in Manassas,VA. I believe they offer LEOSA quals on a weekly basis, and the cost is $35.

I've witnessed GLOCKs malfunctioning (end user induced) when LEOs are shooting from the high retention position- firing the weapon with their primary hand where the pistol is held close to the body....
16:51 here, and I'm not leaving the house again today, so I feel that my wardrobe choice is vindicated.
:)
Got a 442 in my pajama pocket as I'm typing this. :)
Like you, I degrease mounting screws and the crossbolt screws, and I also use Loctite 248. :) Works great.
USPs (full size and compact) in 9mm, 40 and 45- full size and compact. DA/SA and LEM. VP9 and VP9 SK. Quite a few 9mm P2000s and P30s.
No issues except for end user error.

I do the LE firearms instructor as a full-time day job and teach with Green Ops on the side. Here are my general observations pertaining to handguns that I see on the line;
As an agency, we used...
Quals should be shot cold and serve as an objective measurement of skill to be performed on demand. I’ve been in several LE firearms instructor courses where you show up and shoot the course qual on...
- What motivated you to go the SBR route, or what kept you from doing it?
I wanted a dedicated MK18 with a proper stock, and didn't feel like messing with a brace.
- If SBR’d, how do you find the...
We had one in class last summer, and there were some issues with reliability. The rifle was brand new, and had very little, if any, lubricant applied. Sans lube, the rifle exhibited issues cycling...
Glock 19X with the rear sight dovetail milled away for an MOS footprint by CHPWS. Optic was mounted in a CHPWS ACRO mount. This will be a casual, low mileage range gun for my FIL.
