Oh man, I need one of those slides for my Micro.
I'm going to find out what I have to do to get one of those mounts for my Gen4 G17 and Micro T-1....
Did this today in between re-cert qualifications, with my Gen4 G17, Defoor sights, and a mix of CCI Speer Lawman CF and Federal Toxic Metal Free, all 147gr. If I get a chance tomorrow, I'll try it...
Thanks Todd.
Based on your vastly superior knowledge in this field (and I mean that sincerely, since my sarcasm and sincerity sometimes gets mixed up...), I think I'm safe since we aren't using...
As a continuation of some comments that were posted by Todd in this thread, http://pistol-forum.com/showthread.php?1993-Frangible-Damaging-to-barrels
I was wondering how the ammo we use fits in...
I know exactly what you mean. The positive is how tight it holds the gun and mag to the body, which is great for concealment. The downside, like you mention, is a limitation in the belt you can...
pics (taken with iphone, apologies for the lighting and composition, photography is definitely not my forte...)

This thread started picking up speed on the way to fun town at post #24. But it took a detour around post #61. :(
Firefighters up here have badges. And they take every opportunity to show them to who ever they can.
Especially the cops that pull them over for traffic offenses.....
I recently got a new OWB holster and mag pouch, made by Praetor Defense. It's a new line put out by a well known LE officer/shooter/competitor in cooperation with Blade-tech. Designed as a concealed...
A buddy sent me the facebook link yesterday. Couldn't stop laughing.
Is the one in the 'security' t-shirt (tent?) a retired sumo wrestler looking to find another career?
Shot today. Used my issued S&W 5946 to shoot it cold.
Started at 7m, missed my first shot at 19m, then got the hit at 19 and 20m, and missed with my last shot at 21m.
Started at 7m and made my...
I love watching stuff like that.
On Howard Stern, Richard and Sal went down to Wall Street to interview some of the occupiers. Not one that they talked to (and of course they'll only play the...
I think because (and not saying it's the case here...) some people are more impressed with being blazing fast and getting an 'acceptable' number of hits.
I try not to put too much emphasis on...
Just for you.
Shot today with issued S&W 5946 DAO, Gould & Goodrich leather thumb break holster, open carry, and Winchester Super Unleaded 147gr ammo.
Score - 29/30 Blew the one shot...
What must be nice? That I went out and spent a bunch of money for a gun (as well as holsters, mag pouches, mags, etc) that I use for the occasional match that I can get to, and I use it to practice...
Shot it today with my Gen4 G17, Ameriglo Defoor sights, Blade-tech holster, open carry, and Winchester Super Unleaded 147gr ammo. Used a NASS target (4, 6, and 8" circles with a 4" square).

Yup. That's him. I'll have to send him an e-mail as well.
If it's the dog handler I'm thinking of, I know him too. Had a couple really good talks with him about it. Haven't seen or talked with him in a long time though... Last I had any contact, he...
It's pretty much all about politics and money. More equipment means more initial spending to get the kit, more money spent on training and upkeep of that training, and more money spent of spares,...

Awesome shooting guys.
I wasn't able to shoot the first DotW when required. I shot it today though, and was so pleased with my shooting, I just have to post the target. :p
Used my 'favorite' Gen4 G17. It has a (-)...
I shouldn't worry too much about the Sig I guess. After I got my G34, and then Gen4 G17's, it's just sat in the safe. I used it once to shoot Jason Falla's pistol standards in the last year and a...
