While I haven't had any problems with my Gen 5 G21 I can tell that the RSA is somewhat stronger than my Gen 4 G21.
A bit puzzled why Glock would change the RSA on the Gen 5???

Strangely I have recently had similar stoppages with two of my Gen 5 G17s, none so far with the gen 5 G21 but only about 200 rounds through the G21. Never a stoppage through my Gen 4 G21.

Most LEO "students" have the ability/motivation to learn, others not so much no matter how good the Instructor is.

Agreed. Suppression fire is a good reason to have lots of ammo immediately available.

I fitted a "memory bump" GS to one of my Kimbers and after getting it to disengage early enough to suit me
(about 30% depressed), I found that the Swartz drop safety kept the firing pin locked so...
Before welding I would try Stay-Brite low temp silver solder.

My one experience with postal inspectors was dismal to say the least; it's been almost two years and he has never answered my calls or responded in any way!!
Even with my comments in post #5, the 686 is by far my favorite revolver. No problem getting 1" groups from bags at 25 yards with good ammo.
If it were mine I would consider having it hard chrome plated.
