Just speaking for myself here, but happily would be a pretty big overstatement. I rarely carry a 38, when I do it’s with wadcutters because hollow points are spotty at best out of a sub 2” barrel. So...

Would like to hear what happened and what you recommend for something in the 3.4” range.
The 43X conceals like a 19 and shoots like a 43. The 26 is the opposite.
If you can live with the capacity and the short grip I think the 26 is one of the best guns Glock makes.
Respectfully I disagree. I have three young kids. Them getting ahold of a gun unsupervised is unacceptable to me regardless of weapon features. My guns are either locked in safes now or in a holster...
Honestly, all the striker fired 9mms aren’t THAT different. Glock makes a lot of things easy because it’s such a popular product.
I’ve thought about doing the same with chickens.
My wife started getting meat from Good Chop. We get the grass fed beef and their chicken breasts. I don’t know if it’s perfect or not but it’s...
I’ve been shooting my 26.5 exclusively this year and just bought a second. A few things that have come up.
My gun likes .180” tall front and .256” tall rear for a drive the dot sight picture. Most...
I grapple about as often as you do. I’m doing starting strength for the second time (last time was great, but I was starting to plateau around the beginning of hunting season and by the rut I was...
I got LASIK. I still do BJJ. Not going to tell anyone their experience is invalid but the guy who did my LASIK has done it on professional boxers and they were fine. I think I’ll be okay.
It’s...
This needs a bump.
I’ve been carry and shooting my G26.5 a lot lately. What a fantastic pistol. I carry in a tenicor velo 4, but I would like an OWB holster for when I’m out scouting. Thinking...
BOG makes good shooting sticks and tripods and you can get them at Cabelas.
When I gun hunted my shots were 150 yards or less so my situation may be different than yours, but I stopped taking a...
One more thing about knives. The blade design matters, especially the tip. I prefer a drop point. Really sharp points like a spear tip or a clip style (I forget the exact name, whatever a Buck 110...
I use a vortex range finder and vortex diamondback binos. Mine are the 10x42s I think. You can spend more but it’s really not necessary to.
Knives you basically need to decide how much you like...
Dude if that’s the case for residents that sucks. As much as I care about hunting I would have to move if that was my situation. If you can’t at least buy an archery tag over the counter that blows.
My experience is mostly bow hunting white tail deer and shotgun hunting turkeys. You live in a really good elk state and I think mule deer are an option as well but IÂ’ve never looked at traveling...
Agreed. The TRP was a great $1200 1911. $2000 isn’t THAT far from Les Baer territory. If street prices are around $1500 it may be an okay deal.
But a TRP isn’t a semi custom. I’m not sure what...
I’m 3 cooks in on my Weber kettle. So far it’s pretty much everything I thought and I’m happy with the purchase. The food is superior to what I cooked on the propane grill. It takes longer to get...
Sorry for the thread drift but I’ve always been interested in a Kobra Carry but never got the chance to shoot a commander sized 1911. How big is the difference between that and the government model...
I bought a Weber 22” kettle tonight. It was the one I really wanted and the only downside is the start up time when I need to throw something together quickly. But I think there’s going to be another...
Since my post a few months ago about getting a new grill and/or smoker I did a whole lot of research and ended up doing precisely nothing, which is pretty typical for me. Like usual though it also...
I’ve had a few air weights and every now and then you just get one like that. Honestly I don’t know if Smith and Wesson could do it on purpose if they wanted to. I only have the one j frame right now...
I use 148 gr +p wadcutters from Lost River. I’m sure the standard pressure are fine too, but the +p is all I’ve tried, it hits to my sights, is very accurate and manageable in my 442 so I stick with...
This hunting season when I’ve been in bibs I’ve had a j frame in my pocket and a Esee Izula worn as a neck knife. It’s for field dressing an animal, but still. If you’re not wearing a regular belt to...
How’s the recoil on that 350? I’m thinking of getting that exact gun for my son as his first deer rifle.
Sorry, should have been more specific. When I said Traeger I was looking at the ironwood line (so around $2K).
That’s a real good suggestion. I may look at the 410 to get temperature ranges down...
