Due to my state making 10 rounds the mag capacity limit, I had to modify the floorplates of my 15 round mags to work with the Macro. It functions fine and doesn’t look bad.
It has not rotated through two range sessions. I did use a small amount of blue Loctite on the GG&G aluminum magazine cover and tightened up the clamps. So far, so good.
The mag tube cover is very robust and hasn’t loosened over two range sessions so far.
You are correct! It is the 2563. I think it was the left-hand version which I then flipped 180 degrees (the rail extends forward towards the muzzle instead of rearward towards the chamber; this...
It is a QD mount.
Some final touches on my 1301T:
GG&G 2565-R WML bracket and I flipped it 180 degrees and mounted on the right side.
GG&G aluminum replacement mag tube cover (my OEM plastic one had a bolt...
Another option instead of milling a P365 slide would be to purchase a Zev Z365 slide- I am super pleased with the three I have. I use the factory-height sights in conjunction with 507Ks.
Thanks! I got one.
And out of stock again…bummer
I think they were Bravo Company (the snap fit ones). I don’t remember who made the bolt-on ones (I ended up trading the Stoeger for a 1301T)
About 350 rounds total so about 63 rounds through each mag.
I have six of the Z9 mags that have been flawless thus far. I installed the Shield G43 mag catch as soon as I received the mags. I am also running the 43X slide on my G43 frame as I prefer the much...
I just put the MagGuts XL +2 kit on my 15 round XL mag and was able to load it with 17 rounds with a little bit of room to spare. Hmmm…
Jeff, you could be right- I just tried a 12 round baseplate on my 15 round mag and it does look very similar to the teaser pic. The floor plates look a bit deeper though so maybe they can squeeze an...

***edit- thanks gents, I had no idea that this was a design trait***
I just saw this after inspecting my 1301 today and noticing that the front lens of the Holosun appeared to be tilted. Total...
I too removed the magazine retention cap to get the full magazine capacity with FFC and have had no malfunctions.
Fantastic work my friend! Thank you.
Octane Z365 slide (basically a 365X slide) with 507K.
Thanks for doing all that work. Just a quick clarification- I never used polymer flat-nosed ammo. It was solely 124 and 115 gr ball ammo. It wouldn’t function with ball ammo so I didn’t even try with...
This is some great problem solving JCN! You have permission to do whatever you want with my mags. Thanks!
JCN, thanks for all of your time and expertise on this problem. The head-scratcher with the ProMags is that they nose-down with three different types of 115-124 gr FMJ ammo at the same failure rate...
Yes, that’s the jam experienced in all four of the ProMags
“What issues are you having? I am comfortable mag tuning in general. I have experience with tuning different mags. “
Multiple nose-down failures to feed at the rate of four or five per mag (the...
